The only question left is... do androids?

If this were to happen, I'd have three concerns.
- Would they keep on the good members of the team, GreenMarine included?
- Would they keep these forums/their own equivilent in order to hear our views, sustain the current forum community and hopefully continue with the correspondent system (a system which I believe is unique for MMORPG games and seems to work).
- Pay heed and attention to all the hard work and great ideas suggested and documented by this community for the smuggler revamp.
Oh.. and I guess, while no where near as important, depending on when (should it) take place, would they keep me in the sandbox testing team ![]()

From the front page of starwarsgalaxies.com:
Haden Blackman, producer, LucasArts: "LucasArts is thrilled with the Jump To Lightspeed expansion, a product of our strong and ongoing partnership with SOE. This first expansion delivers the fun and engaging space combat experience players expect from Star Wars."
This sort of cleared things up for me.

Not really for me.
If SOE and LucasArts weregoing to try to stab each other in the back with a knife hidden behind their back, you could bet that they would be smiling broad friendly smiles while getting ready to do so.

The rumor was started due to a "job opening" on the Lucas Arts website.... this is for a position which already has an existing similar position, and SWG Is expanding into Japan. IT however even states IN the job description that they would be working withoutside contractors.....
The rumor is false its just people do as people usually do and twist and turn things without passing along the rest of the information just because they have a bone to pick with the game Lucas Arts has always had their hand in the Production of SWG the Producer is after all, a Lucas Arts Employee.
Rumor - Debunked.
Kinda reminds me of the government with their statements about area-51. It's all misinformation!!!!!

Probably for better consumer relations for one. And, so SWG doesn't fall deeper into this endless pit it's in now.

SWG was pushed out early by Lucas Arts. The Player Cities and Vehicles were to be in at launch. The current timeline has been approved by Lucas Arts. What makes you think, given this past histroy, that things will really change?
Quite easy, if the guys from Lucas Arts do not intend to do things different, then what would be the damn point of taking over now?
But if they tell us just the same lies SOE did people will realize it soon and then LA looses the ability to blame someone else, which will make SWG fall even deeper than it has already, so I only see a reason to take over when they intend to do it better than SOE did.

What really thrills me is not the rumor anymore, but that this thread still hasen't been deleted.
