pointless to you maybe, but not to all the people who will want their weapons sliced. Remember, the customer is always right.
Bottom line is, WE WANT TO BE SMUGGLERS! We want to be disliked by authorities and untrusted by most. PLEASE HATE US!!! WE'RE BEGGING YOU!

This is so BS the more I think about it. To those who are having a problem with .... well, with us having issues with this is.... we want danger. If someone gets a slice there should be some potential reprocussions associated with that slice. The way it stands now is that you'd be an idiot NOT to have your stuff sliced. It's an added 10k and you have a better weapon. BIG DEAL.
In a smuggler world if you modify a weapon there should be added costs. The thing jams on you, the authorities find out and a warrant is placed on you and the smuggler, etc.

THAT IS A COOL IDEA!

Fine... I hate you. Happy now? ![]()
But I do agree with you.
Slicing would've been a huge time-investment for the paltry income, so I was glad to see reasons for nonsmugglers to NOT OPT for slicing. Personally, I much prefer the idea of having a one-off, custom, kickass pistol that nobody else would use because it's so tempermental. Ala Han's DL-44. Overpowered to the moon, but he's gotta keep tweaking it otherwise it'll go to pieces on him in the middle of a firefight. I wanted *that.* Screw the nonsmugglers.
But then the reward isn't quite all that. Up to 8% in exchange for random explosions (presuming the weapon isn't any good and capped already)? Somehow.. no.
Go back to the drawing board, INCREASE the benefit, and leave in the breakage. Let the nonsmugglers whine, we don't mind risking our necks for and advantage! ![]()

I love it! That's part of the smuggler content I wnat right there - I want to be running fro mthe authorities, trying to lead a double life as an Imperial officer... it would be great! The more I slice - the more I run...
Such a great idea!
What's funny is thattheyknow that we know that they know that it could be done. All you have to do is look at Jedi visibility. People can be caught in this game. Why is it so hard to do to us?
