It's a catch 22 in situations like this. No mention was made due to the nature of the fix. If we post information regarding the exploit then we are alerting those that didn't know about it.If the fix goes in and doesn't completely fix the exploit then we now have even more information out there on how to get around the system. Glad to hear the fix worked though, I will pass it on to the team

I'm sorry, but I just can't accept this. Why couldn't you put "Fixed Smuggler slicing exploit"? What information would that have given away?

Lack of communication is going to kill this game. Mark my words. That is, unless LucasArts takes over and fixes this mess.

A patch note that said:

Smugglers:
-- Power-up slicing no longer possible.

would have been sufficient.

Those who knew what it was would have known immediately, those who didn't probably would have asked, but you wouldn't have had to answer.

And most importantly, those of us who cared would have been able to provide immediate feedback on this, instead of complaining about the single patch note that we did see. Trust me...if had still been working, and that patch note appeared, you would've had a Smuggler in your feedback thread to let you know about it.

So basically what you are saying is "we throw a fix in the game but we don't know if it fixes anything", i bet you play casino as well with those kind of methods..

Hmmm...I wouldn't worry too much about taking an XP hit. Considering I've maxed out on Broken Dreams, Lost Hopes, Feign Sarcasm, and Unfulfilled Promises XP, and I'm sure you're pretty much in the same boat.

And besides, crate auto-pull is still broken, so that XP offsets this fix. There's a long way to go before they start eating into my Master Cynic XP...
