Personally, I'm for anything that adds content to smugglers. This would be a gateway to further content like getting bh's sent after us and the like.
No, this doesn't
This adds content to smugglers
Smuggler Update: Smuggling Experience

and BH's are in these plans as well
I'm thinking that our definitions of smuggler content must differ
I believe anything that smugglers can do that others can't is smuggler content. Anything new smugglers can do that others can't is new smuggler content. Nobody can help jedi vs bh's. If smugglers could, it'd be added smuggler content.
That's my take on it.
lemme help you with your defining of Smuggler...
Smuggler - one who smuggles.
smuggle -smug·glev. tr.
- To import or export without paying lawful customs charges or duties.
- To bring in or take out illicitly or by stealth.
now, you tell me where in there it says anything about being a bodyguard to overpowered children with laser swords.

It's right next to the place that says we're crafters who make drugs, up the isle from the paragraph on fiddling wires inside of wooden sticks and bone armor. You can't miss it. Right by the sign that says 'Enchanters Manual'.
Really, there's nothing in our profession at the moment that involves importing or exporting without paying lawful custom charges or duties. Except maybe being able to avoid contraband scans.

which is exactly why i don't want the Devs to even think about adding yet another thing to Smuggler that has nothing to do with smuggling.

eh... drew barrymore's my dream girl. /drool....
whatchoo thinkin. Drew barrymor only looks good at the right angle, in the right light, during the right phase of the moon. Then she's teh hawtness. but ordinarily... nah.
Lucy Liu is always hawt.
Even when she's that dyin girl in the X-files.
Why? When have you seriously heard of a Smuggler in the movies or books being a Jedi's bodyguard? Sure, if the Smuggler and Jedi are in the same group, they'd watch each other's backs, but that's it.
However, you do hear of Bounty Hunters taking roles as bodyguards, one example: Boba Fett guarding Jabba.
Personally, they should just extend the Bounty Hunter system so that every hunter who has a mission on a single person can attack the mark, and other hunters. Then, if you want your bodyguard, simply pay a Hunter to pick up the mission and hold your hand throughout the game. Downside, you still generate visibility.
However, if you're doing anything to get on the terminals, its your fault anyway. Jedi status itself is supposed to be the reward for unlocking, experience loss is the accompanying risk. If you can't keep yourself off the terminals, you're doing something wrong. Jedi should be in hiding, and any player who's unlocked which isn't doing so, should end up getting reset to Padawan because Vader/Aura Sing/et cetera came and killed thier dumb ass.

EXCCCCCUSE ME, maybe you didn't notice that we're talking about Lucy Liu?
