Thread: I don't think we should settle.
I doubt it will do any good, but /sign.
I wasn't even this disappointed with the CU ![]()

This is great to say and all, but how are we settling or not settling? I fully agree. The new slicing system is ass, and essentially permanent, since the Dev Calendar is so crammed. But we didn't have any input in it before, and they're sure not going to listen to us in the future. So aside from cancelling, there isn't a whole lot we can do, is there?
We can protest, rant and rave, wave our fists, hijack chat sessions and dev threads, and .. oh wait. We've already done that. And before, we did the reasonable-discussion thing. Endlessly. We've had 3 of the best Corrs in the history of SWG. Hell, we had a dev in here ON HIS OFF HOURS chatting with us about how to make things better.
And did any of that make the slightest bit of difference? Look at the new slicing system. Do you really think so?

You have some good points in there. And i believe you are right. As usual when it comes to stuff with SOE we ( the customers) are on the sharpend of a pointy stick. Dont get me wrong, i realy appreciate all thepost and times that Tiggs and JFreeman and whoever else showed up here to keep us somewhat updated.
Even if it doesnt looks good at the moment for our loved Profession dont let this take you down, Guys. We waited so long for something. Lets test out this new stuff.. even if its crappy and lets adapt.
We ARE the Rag Tag band of Rebels in this game. Fighting and withstanding against overhelming (nerf/balace) odds of the Empire (SOE/Jedi/BH whines). We living this for years now, literaly, why should we surrender now? We are still able to make our own content and just withdraw our Services and our now kinda useless Spice from market if we like too.
We survived every crisis in game.. we will make it thru more.

I feel that even if nothing will happen, stating our displeasure and making it known, in a reasonable way (ie, no "this is teh gai" posts), even if it goes no where, is better than being complacent. Hopefully it could accomplish something, but in the very least it's taking a stand on principle.
