Thread: A Decidedly Unpopular Opinion

I really also start to think i don't want any change in smuggler tree when i see what they do elsewhere....

It really looks like they don't listen or just listen what they want to listen

See the in space missions for supposed smugglers? We said we wanted things for smugglers, they do as they planned : missions for "smuggler alliance" pilots...

I don't want to know what they could do if we say we want smuggling mission on ground, experimentation for spices or a kind of choice for slices...

That could lead to missions for smuggler alliance that will start and end on the ground (youpiya)
Spices that could needed to be experimented but with nothing more that today's spices (can only experiment power that would leed to today's stats at 100% experiment, and no choice on downtime that would be still the same)
Slices would give us a choice : slice with a clamp and don't choose what stat you can slice, or make it without a clamp and you can choose what you can slice (but not as effective as a clamped-slice)

ONLY WHAT WE DON'T WANT

I don't think they are uncompetent in trying to communicate with us. I really thing this requier hudge work. That's why they one day decided to give some player the correspondant title and mission... To be able to touch the most of the community, get feedbacks and what players were expecting to see.

Do they use them? Do they listen them?
Why implementing a tool if you don't use it? Only so that someone can be the community voice how says "i already told them and i'm waiting for further informations"
Maybe devs interact with correspondants, but we don't see it... Nowhere....

From now, i don't want them to touch anything that is currently WORKING as intended.... until they got REAL plans and until they (want to) communicate about it.
It's been one year now with the "we'll make it tomorrow".... if it was me at work, i would have been fired far ago.

They are working on JTL firsts enhancements and correcting minor bugs that should have been corrected far ago. Everyone makes mistakes and they surely were delayed because they didn't see how much work it will requier.
Every mistake is excusable.... If you try to go forward after this, and not making the same mistake again....

No still waiting for a move fromp the devs. Even a "hello dudes, we are now working on that"....
Not a daily work as the "what's on deck".... I want plans that are aiming further than just tomorrow.... And updated followed plans...

Very well done, Veela.

I just have to say I hope we're never on opposite sides of an arguement.

I look at it this way...

Let's say there are 500 dedicated smuggler characters in the game, on all servers. (WAY low, but you'll see why even this number is insulting..) They pay $15 a month to play. That's $7500.00 a month that we pay to be frustrated. Add to that the $30 initial investment, that's another $15,000.

Let's multiply that by the 14 months we've been strung along, lied to, and now having our posts deleted for calling them on it... Hmm, let's see.. $120,000.00.

One hundred and twenty thousand dollars we've paid you to not develop the characters class we want to make a valuable part of the game world..

"When Sony and Lucas set out, we said, How can we do this and not make another EQ? We didn't want it to be all about Luke, or combat, or lock our players into a class. So we created a system that would allow players to switch professions during the game, and there would be a lot of gameplay around making that change. If you want to go from architect to scout we've created a system to make that happen."
