Could someone please let us know what the quoted "content" entails specifically? Is this a few added missions for smugglers or does this mean new functionality added to the Smuggler profession? What is coming in November for Smugglers?
Sorry, I can't and won't give details until the changes are a week out of hitting Test Center. As for the interview it is correctly quoted.

How do we know that smugglers will be getting something soon? Becuase the Devs said so? They've been saying we're getting something SOON™ for two years. Just because they say something doesn't means its TRUE.
Just saying been there and done that what you all are saying and it keeps getting worse and a longer wait as you go.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I was not saying that they are ACTUALLY working on something. Only that I think we (smugglers on a whole) may be trying to tie 2 comments (however related they may be) to mean something incredibly different than they were intended, or atleast crafted to be.

Sit back relax....they got till the end of november to show us something. They've had 2 years, and nada, zilch, zero, zip. What exactly makes you think that these guys can do in 2 months what they have either been unable to or unwilling to do for the past 2 years? (BTW a year is longer than a month.)
Furthermore I would like to say that the time for fixing the Jedi and Bounty Hunters has come and gone. Did you screw it up?? Yes. Should you try to fix it? Yes, but not now. Too long have these two professions been given the attention of a pack of ADD kids. Every other profession has had to sit back and watch while you guys cater to the whining of these two groups.
Now that Squad Leader finally got some kind of fix, I must say that I am happy for them. But are their skills going to work as you have stated? Is this the beginning to the road of fixing Smuggler and Ranger? Have you guys finally bought a clue? I would love to think that the answers to these questions are all "Yes", but with thetrack record you guys have, I cannot believe for one second that any of them are true.
Now before some "1337 J3d3y3 or80un7y Hu/\/73r"comes over here whining that I'm bashing them, let it be known that I have been a Bounty Hunter and I am currentlya Jedi with a Smuggler alt. I am man enough to admit that an overwhelming majority of those professions are comprised of FOTM bandwagoners and back when i started the Jedi grind, I was one of them as well.
But I have seen this game go from pretty damn cool to being"Jedi vs. Bounty Hunter Online." Here's some breaking news: Star Wars is more than that and SWG should be more than that as well.
I find this Topic quite depressing as startingSmuggler..
I specially started on a new server, flurry, to find out how its like and this is far from cheerfull to read.
