Okay, did some research, and it's beginning to look like a false alarm. I'm going to speak to the BH and Jedi involved to try and get a handle on the exact situation, but in my testing, which was two smugglers, duelling each other, it did not work.

This being the case, I'm going to pull back the curtain, so others may attempt to replicate the results that prompted this post.

The BH and his group pounded the crap out of the feigned jedi, til he was down to almost no HAM, then the BH used a Bomb Droid, after which he was able to deal a DB.

I have a theory as to what happened. When I tested this, while in the state of Feign, when the droid blew up, I got a 45 second incap timer. My guess is the jedi panicked, hit /stand, at which point he would take a real incap.

Sorry for all the fuss this caused, but it seemed legit as I know the BH and there was several witnesses to verify.

Durn.

Me and Wes blasted each other to salsa a couple times yesterday and it didn't pull either of us out of Feign. (Hope I'm not jumping the gun, but now that the method's in the open, it seems like a good idea to report our results.)

Our mad bombing and subsequent machinegunner of each others' prone bodies did get the CorSec to come check out the commotion, though, with the end result we ended up feigning for real till a bounty hunter came along and distracted them long enough before being incapped that we were able to jump up and lay down the law. Pretty funny scene.

Corsecs piss me off to no end, especially when I'm waiting in a buff line, and the guy in front of me has like -5000 corsec faction, and some corsec rifleman uses an AE shot, which pulls like half the line into combat...

"Oh that was a pretty good show you made there to feign."

"Yeah, I always grab my chest first, tumble a bit for and back, cough and say 'Rosebud' in the end."
