Thread: Is this indeed the Feast of Electricnomad?
Axob, I love your style, but you're wrong on this one.
1. It is NOT about risk vs. reward, it's about Smugglers AGAIN / STILL needing loot drops to perform one of their basic functions.
2. It's about a fundamental flaw that prevents us from even having lesser components made by players (which I hope to see changed).
3. It's about all those things in the chuckle thread now that the consumer has been given more control because of the loot drop situation. Zane has been a weaponsmith, and I now have a weaponsmith alt. It's because of loot drops that I do not take loot from other players to make weapons for them.
4. Finally, non master can do as good of a job as a master. It's going to take that master doing some serious work to get lootdropsfor only a slight increase to the weapon because of the restraints of the new "balanced" system.
I'm not entirely opposed to this system. It's better than what they first put on TC, but it's not up to par with what was proposed. Basicly, not a whole lot is changing though. I would like to see some acknowledgement of their willingness to add to the system though or I'm taking it at it's face value.
PS- I read some more of the thread and realised you are saying some of the same things. I just don't believe that high end loot drops is really risk vs reward. The only thing that high level loot means is that someone will get rich off of em, it just won't be the Smugglers. I want risk vs reward, and this isn't it.
