A breakable mez is a lot less abusive than a nonbreakable root (vs melees anyway.) I would hope they don't have to water it down. But you're right, we won't know till we see it. However, to assume its a nerf is inappropriate in the same way. Right now Smuggler doesn't feel much like #1 in crowd control though just because I can root something longer than a pistoleer, I'm anxious for a mez. They are still working on Smuggler skills though, so maybe we will get a short root like Stopping Shot too. Hopefully ranged KD added back to Low Blow as well.
