Thread: Do Smugglers have any control at all on if its a speed slice or DMG slice?

Each of the Smugglers charged me like 50k to mess up every weapon. Now I didnt say anything mean to themI even thanked them,but I am still pissed off like 5 hrs latter. Go spend over a million credits on 14 weapons, and just hoping for a couple dmg slices which you probly have a 50% of getting on ever weapon, and then watch a smuggler slice them as you get 1/14 dmg sliced, and thats only a 20% dmg sliced, you would be ticked off to.
Well you made several mistakes. #1 you did not have a master smuggler slicing for you, the minimum slice for a master would have put the speed at 1.6. 1.7 is but a 10% slice.
The other mistake was buying them all beforehand rather than having a smuggler accompany you to the vendor.
And FYI those 1.7 guns are indeed better for you if you are a MBH. Unsdliced your avg dps is around 750 with the numbers you gave. Those 1.7 speed guns will avg around 840 dps for you.

You think it's bad as a customer?
Try being the smuggler who slices your own weapon, and not having any idea, at all, what the result is going to belike. Going through over 20 million credits in pursuit of a good slice and knowing you have no control at all.
Or worse yet, a weapon worth 20 million and getting about the worst possible slice (True story even for me)
