On a side-note, I have a little bit of a rant I need to get off my chest. I was out grinding in space last night - Overt, cause I need FP in the worst way (only a Staff Sargent - need to get to Colonel fast) - Just grinding away, minding my own business in my little TIE Interceptor, when all of a sudden I'm not moving, and my rear sheilds and armor are gone, and I have an eject button on the screen.
When I eject, I can see that parked up my a$$ is some jackass in a Ryykyk Attack Ship. I guess he figured he'd be a nice guy and one-hit kill a single Imperial Ship to make himself feel like more of a man. I got a message to you fool, you wanna PvP in space? I'm your man, but you just gonna ride up behind someone and blast the sh!t outta them just because? That's not very polite man. And for the love of GOD, if you wanna participate in the GCW in space - then pick a bloody side - and attack me on a level playing field.OK, OK. I'm just mad cause that was one of the rudest things I've experienced in this game. So I submit to you all, be good PvPers and signal your intent to attack if you are an Ace Pilot taking on a teir3 fighter. That way, if I can't evade you, then thats my lack of abilities, not you just driving up my a$$ and pulling the trigger. Do I expect this to happen again i nthe future? Of course I do, some people are just a$$holes.

Alright. I'm good now. Thanks for listening.
I have to disagree with your anger here. If you wanna farm faction, that's your choice, but remember, doing so in space means you have to go Overt. You choseto go Overt. You have to accept the fact that there's always going to be someone else who's Overt out there on the other side. Keep "Target Nearest Enemy Player" hotkeyed and press it regularly. I can't tell you how often that's saved my ass. Its another risk versus reward scenario. The risk is getting killed by another player and suffering decay. The reward is accellerated faction gain. Its a choice you have to weigh carefully. If you don't think it through, then don't complain when some player comes up and blasts you when you're not paying attention.
As for advance warning: You get that from the station where you went Overt. A player shouldn't need to send a tell and go "Excuse me, but would you mind if I beat the Everlasting Piss™ out of you? No thanks? Alright, have a good day."
ROFLMAO!
I will have to macro that! "Excuse me, but would you mind if I beat the Everlasting Piss™ out of you?"

As someone who plays on TC somewhat regularly, I honestly wasn't surprised that the patch notes didn't have smuggler... because I read them while the patch was downloading. I've mentioned this elsewhere, but as soon as I saw that the patch file was named "patch_sku_2_17.tre", I knew I wasn't going to see Smuggler in the list.
It's publish 17.2, folks. Not 18.
As for the animations making it in already... well, exactly how much pressing work do you suppose the SWG animation staff has on their plates right now, as opposed to people that actually code?
Well, I'd like them to do something to jetpack "animations" for example, as they've been a very poor impression of a floating corpse since they implemented them.
Oh, and when you /emote from a jetpack, you get impaled by its rocket.
