They are not sperate effects, it is all tied up in the same effect, if one breaks you lose the entire effect.

Alrighty, consider me smacked by a Dev.
A little bit of a contradiction though when you said: "All roots do not break on damage". If concussion shot has a root, then why does it break on damage? Yes, I know you said they are not separate effects, but it seems like they should be.
I understand the benefit of having a daze + root even if they both break. With just a daze, your target can still move around. With daze + root, not only can your target do nothing, but it can't move around either.
" All roots do not break on damage " might have better been said as " not all roots break on damage " since in this case the root is tied to an effect that breaks on damage.

Then pick up smuggler yourself, AoE Mez everything then switch to the proton rifle and pick off people one by one.

Smuggler is getting a great upgrade and so is the Master Commando weapon.

Panic Shot was also not working correctly, as the description has read since CU it is now operates as a Daze instead of a Combat Slow. Again Dazes prevent actions but break on damage. Made no sense for panic shot and lowblow to do the same thing excep tpanic shot was a much weaker version.
Overwhelming Shot was non functional as well, it now works.
These changes should be rolling out to TC in a few days and should help the Smuggler in fufilling their Crowd Control role better.
Sweet I love it already. While you are looking at other smuggler attacks look over reckless shot again...its description still doesn't match up with its implementation.

but now panic shot does the same thing as concussion shot except panic shot is a much weaker version(no root)
Still no fix for the commandoo aoe?
