This seems to be the only one I noticed weird in my own testing. Nothing over 35% for effectiveness.

another 3 32% slices for me tonight. all speed

i'm not paranoid enough to suggest a nerf, but i'm having the worst luck ever, with the best % stats at the same time. how ironic

Since Pub 9 i havn't realy noticed a change in the % but a change in the randomness of slices.

I sliced 55 weapons in a row, and about 80% where speed. Now i'm not that stupid in math to see that no random generator would make that many of 1 side in a 1/55 calculation. So my best bet is they nerfed it in small portions for us not to notice.

I have since sliced a lot of weapons, and most of them are speed, and i recent the fact that it is even possible.

I know that you can have a streak of same side oriented slices in both armor and weapons, but not spread out over different days and login secions.

Ok Guys sliced 2 very good Suit's of Comp./ Stun armour..

I had a low number encumbrances slices and the had nothing over 38%..for encumbrance..

A lot of base slices and nothing over 28%..

The ratio was about 2 base slices to 1 encumbrance slice..

The shocker was a 12% base Slice..

Now I'm a Master Smuggler and got a Bloody 12% Base Slice.. So come on Can some Please Tell me what is Going On.. have the DEv's screwed up the Figure when they did the socalled patch for the PK's..

That is where the Problem seem's to Stem From.. Can we have a Roll back on that part of the patch to See if we go back to normal in our slices..

Snowtigre....

The low range for base effectiveness slices at Master Smuggler is 11%. You're going to get the whole range. Sometimes you'll get the 35% effectiveness slice, and sometimes you'll get the 11% effectiveness slice.

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

Well guy's what has gotten me hot under the collar is the fact that Since the Pub 9 has come in it is the simple fact that the random slice have been dropping in.. Before the publish I never got any slices below 15% and 90% of my slices were above 25%.. The reason that I got the slices I did was the simple fact that prepared for any slicing session, I made sure I had/have no Bf and just Slice..

The truth will come out when I have to help Slice 39 Full set's of Stun Armour..Let's see what we happen's..

I've been noticing more of a trend that my slices seem to be based off of the item. Meaning I sliced3 crates of weapons for a freind, fresh from the factory, and received only 2 slicesat 30+%. Then 2 crates thatwere sitting in his shop, for the last 2 weeks, waiting for me to get off my lazy arse to slice. Suffice to say,I had19at 30+% !!!!! Perhaps, it was a rubber band effect, the 30's were piling up just waiting.

But, I got around to thinking, it would make sense to put a timer on the items. This way the fast paced, massive churned out items, of a master merchant would be of average and mundane quality, but those that are crafted in a time taking process, not rushed to the vendor, would be mildly better, and more aptly sought. (ford vs. ferrari)

Additionally to note, it could have been based off the type of item that they were, the good crates were power hammers, the other 3 were VK's and curved's. But, I still maintain that such a huge differnce, seems less likely left to chance, and more to item attribute. And, why do we as a profession seem to always look at what were doing as the origin of the issue? It takes two to tango, right?
