I kind of forgot I made this post. GEEVO has a good point about player-made content. That's what I do in the game, I create goals for myself. I went and got all the POI badges. Then I went after all the non-profession badges. as it stands, I only have a few corvettes left. I donated 8 lootkits to my guild. I got myself a de-10, I got blacksun hacks for several guildmembers, etc. It's definitely the best way to play the game as the game currently exists, building your character in ways beyond just having a great template, and helping others while making a name for yourself amongst them.

In fact, at the moment, I don't even care so much about the combat revamp/balance thing. But it would be nice to have smuggler content upon launch of JTL. Why? because If I am a Master Pilot by then (which I'm sure I will be) then I'll have missed out on the lower level stuff.

My current view is "Build your template how you want ... with whatever working (or broken) professions you want. Then play and have fun." (Although some may play to have fun while building...but I personally hate being low-level anything).
