What are you expecting with Dual Weild? To double your DPS? Its not going to happen. Things are ballanced now.
Are you just looking for the "coolness" factor? The eye candy of dual wielding? Then I can understand that.
Dual wield is perfectly viable - just make it so only certain weapons can be dual wield (a new 'type' of weapon, if needbe), and then restrict their DPS so that *when they're combined* they might match a full on weapon. In other words, they can attack very fast, but will do significantly less damage per shot.
Example: dual wield might be two 1-10/1.5s pistols, versus, say, a single 2-20/3.0s rifle. You'll do more 2x damage per shot with the rifle, and have the same dps as the pistols. (The trade off for the damage is if you miss while dual wielding, you can make upto half the damage on the second shot, whereas if you miss with a single shot rifle, you lose out onALL damage.)
That's how it works now, although the math is somewhat screwy in SWG (I'd say incomplete, even) since heavy hitting weapons aren't as slow per swing/shot as they should be. Point is, dual wield is trivial.
Screw the math. Make the gun in the right hand be the only one in the calculations. Dual wielding is purely a cosmetic touch, even to combat professions.

1) I kill a BH. He comes back. I kill him again. He comes back. I kill him again. He comes back. I kill him again. He comes back.... etc.
2) A BH kills a guildy. A day later same BH kills same guildy. A day later same BH kills same guildy. A day later same BH kills same guildy A day later... etc.
Just some examples.
How 'bout telling "same guildy" to stop getting on the boards? That might help a bit.... good lord... Jedi are dispicable.
It'd take someone deeply imbalanced to not think that was griefing. Seriously, another BH will come along. If it's your own personal crusade to stop a specific person, that is just wrong and people like you are why this change came in.
If you want to talk about dispicable, look at the ones who take pleasure in hurting others. Who for whatever reason have a need to lash out like that. Maybe their wife beats them. Maybe they really do have saber envy. Maybe they're just disturbed. Being pissed on for whatever reason does not give you the right in the least to do so to another.
Dude don't bite me... I don't grief.. I don't even know any Jedi that I would want to go after for ANY reason. I Bounty Hunt casually for fun with friends. All I'm saying is, STOP GETTING ON THE BOARDS!!!! and you won't get a BH on you. There is an easy way to NEVER die to a Bounty Hunter... stop getting visiablity. "But you can't get good xp solo"... well.. dieing 16 times in 5 days isn't a great way of getting xp either... smarten up folks.
Edit: And another thing.. if a Jedi is dumb enough to get on the boards that much... they deserve it. I agree that one Bounty Hunter shouldn't go after the same dude, that sounds boring to me, but if you know you can be successful against a target and that target is ALWAYS on the boards.. why not? The paddy can stop the trend by staying off the boards. And all his guildy buddies that tell him to group up and grind xp with them are just perpetuating the problem. THEY are giving him visibility. Let your Paddies make the grind solo.... they'll live longer.

Profession: Bounty Hunter
NPC Bounty missions will now work properly. The Mark will now be of appropriate difficulty based on the difficulty of the mission
Moved Player Bounty Hunting to the Master Bounty Hunter skill Box
Bounty Hunter Jedi missions (1) no longer list Jedi names and (2) prevent you from determining Jedi’s level via mission payout
Profession: Scout
Phecnacine Dart will no longer cause creatures AI to turn off
Profession: Pilots
Pilots that drop a pilot profession will no longer lose an extra 10% experience if they have an inspiration buff.
Profession: Jedi
FS Village, Phase 4:
Increased the frequency of the Sith Shadow Pirates spawn to make the Village Assault (Ranged Speed / Melee Defense) quest is now easier to complete
Players that are using force cloaked will no longer be targetable
Jedi heals will no longer cost Force and Mind if the target does not require healing
Armor / Weapons
Fixed an Issue with the Mabari Gloves
UI
Removed the version number from the splash screen. If you would like to retrieve the version number, press CTRL+SHIFT+G in game.
Master Badges will now be granted during the token respec period
Fixed the range indicator so it packs down when HAM bars are invisible.
GCW
Reduce TEF timer to 2.5 minutes.
Combat between a bounty hunter and a Jedi for which the bounty hunter has a bounty mission will result in a "bounty hunter TEF". No other TEF (such as factional TEF, for example) is applied. The "bounty hunter TEF" will prevent both the bounty hunter and Jedi from entering player structures, and will eject the player from a player structure if the TEF is received while the player is in the player structure.
Guild war pvp no longer results in a TEF, unless the combatants are a bounty hunter and a Jedi for which the bounty hunter has a bounty mission, in which case it will result in a "bounty hunter TEF".
Opposing factional TEF and "bounty hunter TEF" are applied to both combatants as soon as any of the combatants attacks.
Quests / Loot
Mellichae now drops his cyborg arm as loot.
Mellichae and Daktar Bloodmoon now drop more appropriate loot.
NPC Jedi can now drop medpacks, clothing, and pistols as loot.
AI
Fixed an error case where AI would emit a "?" over its head when a non-threat approached.
Pets: If a pet attacks a mob, the mob will now also be aggressive to the pet's master. So if you send a pet on a mob, and the pet dies, the mob will attack you. If you send your pet to attack a lair, mobs from the lair will additionally attack you.
Pets: Pets now inherit the same aggro radius reduction as their master. Previously a lvl 80 player with a lvl 40 pet could possibly have an AI aggro the pet, but not the player. Now the pet has the same aggro radius as the player.
Pets: A pet can no longer pull a mob without getting within the aggro radius of or attacking a mob. Previously just telling a pet to attack a mob initiated the pet and the mob in combat instantly.
Pets: A pet no longer stops attacking a lair (or any immobile AI) after a short period of time. They will continue to attack as ordered.
Pets: Fixed a case where pets could lose their ranged weapons when incapped and not regain the weapon until stored/recalled

Let us all bow to the Jedi, for they dominate the whims of the nerf bat...
I tried to get get back to it but it seems to have gone poof....
Check out the BH boards, Im sure they have linked it elsewhere or have copied it into there threads they have created on this.
...and trust me, there's plenty
Saarek wrote:Funny I didnt see any of this in the In Testing forum or the Announcements... clicky please.
There is no clicky - GarVa accidentaly moved it to visible forums too early (said so in the Bounty Hunter forums so it's not a hoax of some kind). There are two feedback threads in the BH forums started by Auraboron who's acting as Tanks' replacement while he's away.
As for the changes, I'll wait for the TC reports where the system is described in detail. So far, not good at all.

This is actually the best part of that post. I read it earlier today on the Dev tracker and wanted to post here about it. If they can code this, then you know that they could code in duel wielding in combat....they just need to hammer out the mechanic.
Even though they keep saying it won't happen for a long time, seeing this makes me think that it may not be as long as we think.
I can't wait to try this out with my SS alt.
I now have no reason at all to visit an entertainer. I'm maxed on xp, have no desire to be a jedi and therefore have no need to get inspiration buff. If I ever start selling fp again, possibly, but for now, nope. The ONLY reason I went to an entertainer was to get rid of BF. Now that's gone.
I have had some truly amazing RP times with entertainers - my bio even mentions a predeliction for Twi'lek dancers, but hey, who doesn't like 'em. Now it makes it even harder to RP as I can't do it while I'm there for a game mechanic reason...
I'm excited about the possibility of dual wielding, but we all know it's gonna end up as dual wielding Jedi and bugger all for the rest of us.
I've got mixed reactions to the BH thing. I think it's actually good to have player bounties limited to Masters. For too long being a Master in a profession has meant too little. Now a large part of content is limited to a Master - quite a reward for being one. A good thing.
I can kind of understand why they removed the names from bounties. Might stop griefing, then again...
However, as ever, it does seem pretty one sided. All these things do seem to benefit the Jedi. Anonimity in bounties, even more of a bonus from cloaking... How about some love the other way? Kashyyyk is no longer a grinding zone, maybe? Like that'll ever happen.
You kinda gotta wonder what's next, and I can't even dream up something so insane that they might just do it...
Hang on... How about a Smuggler profession that can't smuggle
