u guys think that 10k is much? i usually slice for 3k per slice also because it is not my main source of income... i got flamed once by someone who would have a seperate chart from where he would see what he would charge. he would charge like 5k extra for a weapon with a DoT, a special weapon(geo blaster/executioner hack etc) plus several other factors... i believe that a slice could cost up to 100k with him. i told him that indeed, i had to slice alot to make that kind of money also, but people would come back to me for slices anyway, since i was so cheap, compared to him. at that point he was starting to get really pissed on me, cos i took all his precious customers away from him. but i can afford to slice cheap, since this isn't my main source of income. apparently it is his, but i doubt he gets alot of customers...

personally, i think that when slicing, the cost of resources(since quality doesn't matter) is extremely low. Lets say u spend 500cr on the resources and slice for 3k as i do. this will get u a profit of 600%. i guess some people simply have credit-fever... cos even when slicing for 3k, i earn a living for me and my wife, with a baby coming soon

btw, the 3k is on euro-farstar, where some docs charged 25k for 2400 buffs... even tho the buff-prices are going down a bit(it was 18k last night)

So let me get this straight you are making fun of yourself for trying to buy the schematic instead of hunting for it?

I refer to your "Hey, look at me! i'm gonna make arediculousely large profitso i can go out and buy something like RIS or BHarmor instead of EARNING it just like every other pissant crafter in this game! " comment a few days after your post of:

So why aren't you willing to go earn it like you stated all of us aren't doing?

You know, it's amazing to watch someone drown in a sea of their own lies. Funny part is you still think your still treading the waters.

I have a macroed responce for when people i don't know send me tells and its:

"well hello, yes i'm a Master Smuggler, and yes i can't slice you equipment, but i doubt you can affort my services"

I don't like the way that sliced equipment has becomeeveryday stuff, i prefer to see that sliced equipement so something rare that you would take care of like it was a baby.

So i don't charge a flat rate for sliced, to get me to slice you have to make me an offer i can't refuse, like a good experiance in the way you contact me, like waving me over to the corner and whisper your request, something to make me feel that i'm and person from the underworld, offering nice loot, pieces of art also work if it is something i want, or know that i can sell to others.

I the last 6 months i've only been paid in cold cash once, and that was after an hour of role-playing the transaction in the shadow of one of the booths in the Mos Eisley Cantina, i didn't want the monen, because i had a blast role-playing, but he wouldn't take no for an answer, i've been given stormtrooper armor from a happy costumer, and several paintings, even ships from happy costumers.

5k-10k only lasts so long, a painting in your house is something you will enjoy for much long.

That just my take on slicing and prices.
