That's ok, he must not know to whom he is speaking.

I am Jack's Smirking Revenge. I am Jack's Ignored Profession.
Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

Your of course absolutly right in your observation. I suspect that the sandbox is in full swing at the moment thats why were generally seeing fewer dev posts than ever before. Could also be the simple fact that both WoW and EQ2 have launched and they are simply riding it out to see the fallout.

I dont think either game will impact SWG in the long term though, both are intrinsically built for a different customer base.

I guess I would like to know how the Sandbox testing is going. All of the correspondants that have bothered to post about it seem to be very pleased although very evasive in specifics. I understand that they are under an NDA but still I dont see how it could hurt for some Dev to give us a little heads up on a time line at least.

That and we are crashing headlong into the holidays right after the full team of ground and jtl devs just finished up the JTL launch. My guess is we don't see much for months. People are going to be taking long overdue vacations after working 80 hour work weeks. (A big issue in this industry -- did you see that EA's customer service employees are sueing EA for unpaid overtime?)

Meanwhile, players, ostensibly, will be taking time off for "family time."

I'd just like to thank whoever gave me a one-star, maybe someday you'll have the guts to say why you did so.

Ignore the one-star poodoo-head. (And I gave you five to make up for that child's behavior.)

Thanks, I just seem to have someone following me around doing this.

And I noticed you'd been hit for a one-star too, so I balanced that.

Is it just me or does it seem that every time we Smugglers almost reach open rebellion, we get thrown a bone/have a red name post.

Over the last 18 months I have watched as the Smuggling community grew angry over one change or another or at the total lack of communication, etc.

Just before it reached "Real Bad", a red name would post in the forums and give us a small morale boost.

3 or 4 days of this then.............nothing for 3 to 4 months.

Last time our forum's morale got this low, along came Greenmarine to talk to us and make us all feel loved and warm inside.

This time another red name, Goliath, just happens to pop in and posts a few lines in a few threads.

Pardon my cynical nature, butit hasbeen developing quite nicely ever since I decided to become a Smuggler.

Thats because you have names of player which I won't give you kiss up to the dev's on here so they can have "special things" ie: testing and such.

So once in a while when everyone gets pissed they come on here with the DevCorr. and say things that make us think they are working on stuff. Which they KNOW they are not. What's even better is now there is talk of nerfing the little we have to please Bounty Hunters and some others.

I find it very amusing everytime I read a post left by our DevCorr. about a revamp or something else. He comes on here, say about 10 lines of complete nothing. Then you see the Brainless post right after him how its next to god. When in in actual fact he just said were getting screwed and he knows nothing about a fix. But yet you have the mindless, brain dead idiots posts. WOW I'm excited they know its broken and they are looking at. THEY HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT IT SINCE I GOT ON. Nothing has changed, Matter of fact it has gotten worst.
