Just tried using speedpowerups on the weapons I was slicing. The exploit isn't back, I used 2 weapons with the same speed. Sliced the one with a 20% speed powerup (oddly there seems to be a speed cap too, when I tried slicing with a 30+% speed powerup I got the message that I had exceed the maxpower output for the weapon) and the other with no powerups. I then removed the powerup from the one and the speeds for both weaponswere the same. It seems to be a base percentage applied to the weapon in general each time you use it, so the percentage will also effect a speed powerup making it even faster but when it runs out the weapon goes back to normal.

Any luck having novice weaponsmiths create new wuk crates and being able to convert them all at once or invidually?
I asked a nws to make me a crate and the wuk schematic had been removed from here datapad.

Just spent 4 hours writing, then rewriting, tweaking, PMing, Trolling, so it better be good. Just wish I'd posted a save in the second post spot :/

I had one crate of WUKs, and on my last WUK pulled from the crate, I got an illegal core booster. Great, eh?

I have several AUKs that i took from the crate before the patch and i still can't salvage them? i got ripped off, slicing is too much of a hassle now.

A fewquestions: What about Krayted/Gorax/whatever weapons? I tried slicing my Krayt Renegades and my Gorax FWG5 for damage, but it tells me that it is already over its power limit? So, does that mean no Damage Slices to Krayted/Goraxed Weapons? Is this going to be fixed or is it going to be like this forever?

Thank you - this is a BIG help!
Disappointing to know that all the crates of smuggler tools I invested in are only good for one tool in the crate, but at least now I know where to look.
My only concern is where the drops come from - I doubt a Master Smuggler can take on some of those mobs.

can you do a level 1 slice then stop (ie you dont have the other components) but then at a later date (once you have acquired your new component) continue to slice the armor (which is at 20% still) to the higher levels?

yes... you can do a "free" slice right away, the level 2 slice wen you get the tools, and a month later a level 3 slice.
you cannot "skip" a level though. you're going to need both a shock absorbany padding and a reactive micro plating to get that level 3 slice.
you can also mix slice styles in any combination up to 100%... can do a level 1 & 2 hardening slice and a 1 & 2 armor break reduction slice on the same piece of armor

Did not see it mentioned anywhere.
Does Master Smuggler improve slicing under the new system? Or is the +100 skill mod at Tier IV as good as it gets? Looks like once you hit IV you're able to do every slice (assuming you have the components) and the numbers are set, so that's it then?
