Thread: Time for expansion but no time for Smuggler?

I tried to post this but it was erased! A friend of mine was talking to a dev in game, and the dev said that BH's will get smuggler hunting missions soon. Also that Entertainer, BH, and Smuggler professions will be nerfed by the fall.

Indeed, I looked suspiciously at my coffee, wondering if someone spiked it while I had my back turned.
Sure when I saw the Expansion news I was a tad disapointed. Even tho I know it was never talked really in more than a "if we do it it will have to be an expansion" way, I was still hoping for an Underworld one. But that RotW expansion is a low scale one compared to JTL. Given all that they have to work on at the same time (CURB, non combat profession revamps, GCW revamps), it actually make sence. They have to put an expansion out, one that will both help the sale of the movie and attract new players BECAUSE of the movie. I doubt very much they could have developped a whole Underworld expansion for May, and have the CURB ready, and worked on all the stuff they have been working on lately. So yeah the content of that expansion was obviously dicted in good part to take advantage , marketing wise, of the movie. Ah well it is the last movie so it should not happen again.
I was worried of an upcoming expansion taking the focus from the non combat profession revamps. But with the CURB out in May, at the same time as the expansion, there is no news of the non combat professions revamps being pushed back.
And I have good hope they will keep to May because with release dates they have some leeways but not a lot of it (Specially with the upcoming movie as a marketing ploy! It HAVE to be released before the movie does.).
So yeah, actually hoping for news on the non combat revamps for this summer. A few days ago I would have said more like end of the year, because I was so sure the CURB would be a looooong process. So from my point of view at least, we didn't got "shafted again", things improved.
And add to that the mysterious news from Veela, the Fencer thing, and the "bone" (altough the "bone" and Veela's news "might" be the same thing), I am glued to the board for the next few weeks. rflmao
