Happy Saint Patrick's Day to ye all!
I'm about 3/4 Irish myself -- have it on both sides, and Gramma came here when she was 18.
I am sure she'll be rollin' over in her grave when I toast her memory with tequila tonight. Heh. She preferred a good Scotch, actually.

heh. Reminds me of a PnP character I played briefly. What was his name? Like Jose' O'leary or something like that. He was half Mexican, half Irish. They called him Mick the Spic.

A toast to those around us,
In joyous spirit we gather,
To eat and drink and be merry,
Even in inclement weather.
By morn we'll raise our glass,
To every thing we can,
And drain the final drops,
In celebrations' end.
Happy St. Patrick's Day friends.
In joyous spirit we gather,
To eat and drink and be merry,
Even in inclement weather.
By morn we'll raise our glass,
To every thing we can,
And drain the final drops,
In celebrations' end.
Happy St. Patrick's Day friends.

May those who know us love us,
And if they do not love us may God turn their hearts.
And if he cannot turn their hearts may he turn their ankles
So we will know them by their limp.

Did you know that in Ireland, all the pubs are closed on St. Patrick's Day? At least they used to be, not sure if it's true these days.

Please no politics...
Please no Religous talk either. You are discussing a Catholic Feast day, and as a Catholic I'm offended that you blatantly insult it by using it as an exscuse to get drunk.
