Ariekb, appreiated that you dont need to slice for your primary income, thank god for that as your not going to make much of a profit as 100 cr per point. Also, bear in mind your fellow slices on Eclipse and how it effects them with people whining on about cheaper slicing.

Ariekb, it's nobodies fault the pricing for slicing is all over the place.
However, it would be nice to push it up from 100 cr per point in unison. I mean, when you see most otherservices in the game (buffing being a prime example) there does seem to be a standard price point or perceived value.
My point here is that I feel smugglers are undervaluing ourselves and our service. Personally after doing almost 24 professions across my toons I have to say that Smuggler is the one I have enjoyed the most by far; it has a nice RP element to it (if that tips your boat), we provide a really useful service (perhaps one of the most important in the game) and we are generally civil to each other (perhaps its our siege mentality). 
Therefore having people pay a little more showsour worth in the game. I feel anyhow...

I have slicing 3 now and I give anyone a slice for free. I even /yell at places offering free slices when I'm bored, like at the starport, shuttleport, cantina, etc.

Well, I'm sure all the Mos Eisley marksmen must be very grateful to you.

actualy I did some research before I started charging for my slices, and found that 100cr per is about average for what people charge on eclipse, I've just never thought of making it my primary income because of that fact. if suddenly I start hearing that I'm undercutting my fellow smugglers then I'll ask them the prices they charge and adjust. people who tip me are people I talk to and give some pointers on this or that. my best tip was for making the guy laugh about how he was dressed.... a 100K deposit to my account hehe
