I slice after I let them know the whole spiel about revamp and borked and whatever. If they still choose to do so, hey, I need to make money, they know the deal. I usually get a thanks for letting me know, I'll wait, or I don't really care, slice it anyway. All said, I keep a good rep, still make some money, everyone is happy.

I don't slice anymore, and just tell everybody that asks to wait for the slice revamp.
I'm curious though, and I'm too lazy to back out now and search for an answer if one exists...Going by what we saw concerning slicing in the In Concept forum with each weapon having a "customization" level. Will weapons that are currentlysliced still be able to be customized once the revamp hits...or will those all be set to a 100 customization level...or reset back to an unsliced state.
If I knew that I could slice my weapons now - then still be able to do them over with the new system, then there wouldn't be any reason to push people away from slicing right now.

I slice if folks ask me to slice for them. I tell them my price, and I warn them that I could end up with negative to low slices. Almost all of them said ok and let me slice, I've only had one guy say that he was going to wait. My last client got a 0% slice, I gave him his weapon back and started to leave without being paid and he tipped me anyways.
It seems to me thatslicing is a bit like drugs, some people are just so desperate for a "fix" that they'll take what they can get. It's a bit odd to seemy client'scheer, and say Woot!,for 7 or 8% slices.
