Thread: Conseqences for losing to BH

Whoever fails their respective mission(BH or Smuggler), loses the privilege of wearing pants for 24 hours of game time. Characters with a history of failure will be given the Fuzzy Purple Helmet of Shame for the duration.


Additionally, losing Smugglers will be banned from consuming any pie for 24 hours.


Alternatively, losing Bounty-Hunters will be forced to *bake* a pie for the winning smuggler within 24 hours.

The post saying "Did someone say Pie?" post? Why the fart would that get deleted?


As to your other post, I appreciate you taking your time to answer and I wasn't trying to pressure you. Nor am I opposed to joking around. I really was just wondering if you had anything in mind on the topic.


About what you said on topic... I understand COMPLETELY the desire to be hunted. I plan on doing the same thing from time to time. With that being said.. I would hope you plan on successfully completing some missions on occassion. According to the In Concept notes, that's how we are going to get our spice. So if you complete a few missions it will get back the reputation you lost from intentionally failing a Critical mission to get on the boards. So Fail a Critical mission, get on the boards... and sneak around looking over your shoulder as you do your other missions. Smuggle while getting hunted... That's the only way to do it IMO.

That aside, you're saying if you can keep your Reputation up and be hunted... you'd like the system?

OMG... this would kick so much a$$...


Of course, what if no BH picked up the mission to stop you? You get less reward, I would think. Maybe ifa BH takes the mission for you and you still complete it you get a bonus... based on the CL of the BH versus your own CL? I dunno... something like that would be cool. And of course, if you take a mission and a BH takes the mission to stop you... if the reputation system is in place, that would mean more rep. And if multiple BHs took the mission out on you... well, then your rep just skyrockets.


Or maybe not... regardless, a timed smuggling run while maybe getting chased by player BHs? Frickin' awesome.
