No the most annoying part shall be pulling out each clamp and wuk individually to slice each and every one of them.

I've actually never auto-pulled in my entire smuggling career

for some reason, I guess I just never trusted it to work properly or something ... plus, I don't think it's that much of a hassle to click on the crate a couple times to drop one in inventory

Heh...I was out of the game and didn't slice for so long...now, I really appreciate and miss the auto-pull. Where before, all I had to do was make sure I had a crate of AUKs, a crate of WUKs, a crate of Clamps, and a knife with enough charges on it in my inventory...now, somebody asks me to slice something and I have to think: "Uhhh...Ok...I need one of those *click WUKs*, one of those *click Clamps*, *check knife charges* and one of those *click knives*...ok...now I'm set." Then the guy hands me an armor piece with his weapon and I click on it and get told "You need an AUK to perform this action." and I scream at my screen "there's a whole CRATE of them right there in my inventory!!". I swear, I feel like a blubbering idiot when I have to slice something now.

Auto-pull spoiled me...*sigh*...

I love the commentary... keep it up

as for pricing, I am now charging 10K per; may barter with a cool player (or go up, if your being a right prat); provide free service to guildies; do it for free under 20%; and will now be directing LC's to a novice or it's gonna cost 5K per... that's what it cost to buy these things when your grinding, so no more freebees or find someone who needs the xp!!! (Oh, and I don't mind helping out the noobs once in a while too )

I tend to charge 5k per item sliced, not including containers (of which tend to keep coming and coming....similar to the previous post of ' can you slice 5 items?' ...and 9 are submitted). Guildies I charge 3k per item.

I feel this is better than than the x creds / percentage rule, as we have no say in what we slice, speed or damage or encubmerance or whatever, or the stats it turns out to be. We still need to buy the clamps and knives, and yet I'm still always skint in game!!! A few TK missions when your unbuffed and skint, then running around trying to get buffed afterwards eats into a hell of a lot of gameplay time! (not to mention gets tedious!)

I don't think we are as respected a profession as say weaponsmiths or armoursmiths. True their products take a little more time to make / do, but we grind hard for master smuggler, we supply time and lets face it a very valuable service, and get a pittance!!!

Any other smugglers feel this way?

On my server theres an area south of coronet with the 3 best WSs in it. I just hang around there and get to slice all the uber weapons.

Yestarday I got a 34% damage slice on an acklay PH (max went up to 1021) and got paid 500k hehe.

I'm up to 10k per. Less if the customer is friendly and polite.

More if they're rude, obnoxious, or stupid.

If it's a bulk order (more than 50 items), I get to pick one of the items sliced, or 10k per.
