I suppose it is possible, thought this wouldnt be a popular view, that the Devs are sort of "Star Wars Fundamentalists", taking this single line from canon and focusing on it completely as a definitive definition of how "luck" works- there is no luck. If I were to take Obi-wan's remark as an absolute definition of the the workings of the universe in the Star Wars genre, then all Han's luck, and all our luck, would be nothingless than the will of the Force. A smuggler who took great risks and never liked to know the odds would be in fact putting their "trust in the force" to "guide" them through, say, an asteroid field.
I am not by any means saying that I agree with this kind of view, but it is possible, no matter how unpopular, that this is in fact the view of the Developers, or even that of Lucas. This would mean that Han Solo wasn't "lucky", the infamous Solo "luck" that ran through his family and that famous and ever infallable "I have a bad feeling about this" would in fact be a manifestation of heightened sences through Force Sensitivity... I hope I'm wrong and this is actually just a case of the Jedi getting love first, and us smugglers later.
