I could see that. Low Blow should definitely return to being a KD plus the action slowdown but a more noticible slow down.

Why spend all of the skillpoints on Underhand shot when youcan shoot a rocket launcher that will do it for free?

Great post Hotdog, I think everyone should be quite well informed on the change by reading this . We just have to make sure that when the shot is changed on TC it's all the description of mezzing suggests it to be

We WILL hear nerf cries. When we DO I'm gonna flip out because the shot is pretty useful now- they are going to "fix" it- make me switch up my fighting style and then they are going to nerf it. It's like setting up bowling pins, really.


BHs will cry nerf because Padawans will use it to paralyze and run (although- Jedi seem to be too stupid to run for some reason).


Jedi will cry nerf because BHs will chain paralyze/bomb droid as described earlier.


Factions will want it nerfed because we will be mezzing hords of people for easy pickin's.


Which is why I say- prepare to defend your new shiney toy folks.The envious kids in the sand pit are going to want to take it away as soon as we get it.

Reckless Shot is the other Smuggler Damage Special. Has a decent damage modifier, but the drawback is that you get a temporary defence debuff, somewhere along the lines of -80. However, if you have Intimidate shot, make sure to use it before using Reckless Shot. That way, even though more attacks get through, you'll take a little less damage from them.

like this idea, and i like concussion shot as it is. with a plasma flamer, i can usually keep enough beasties at bay. or when i want a single one to come for me, i hit 2 and CS one of them first, then when the other is closer, i CS that one. note that i hardly PvP, so i don't know how good/bad i am in PvP...

well you have to spend the skill points for the rocket luncher in the first place even if it's slightly cheaper. I got an knock down however to use with the acid stream rifle. I could of had a Single target area knock down with the rocket luncher or I can have a single target knock down with underhand shot but make it an area knock down when coupled with the acid stream luncher


I sometimes think I bring these nerfs down on myself with being just to damn smart for my own good


They probably place in some restraints so we can't spam it, probably a 30 second timer to state resist, long cool down timer maybe a warm up as well

Commando 0103 is such a better idea then 0040, that way I can have 3 base slicing professions I'm such a noob at times.

Ok we are lossing a root and gaining a mez this isnt going to change i think we need to think the things which concern me are cool-down times and duration of the mez, i dont like the idea of swapping a root for a mez and having the duration reduced.


Since the mez is broken once the opponent takes damage i think that 40sec's is fine though 60sec's would be preferable to give us time to get out of dodge since rumours of BH coming after us has been mentioned.


I think since it will become a mez lets make it work for us because with a crowd control of 5 we need to make this move justify it for us.
