No, there isn't. At Fan Fest, one of the Hybrid panel devs said that FD was thesingle PvE-only move in the game.
And if anyone needs to know my feelings on this issue, you haven't been here for long.
Well... heh. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Smuggler has the single "PVE-only" move in the game as one of its four combat specials.

/concealshot is a PvE only special. I personally hate FD being in PvP. It's ment to try and fool your opponent, not make you completely invincable. I have to admit though, I have used it when escaping from a TEF without wearing armor. However, when I'm overt, or if I have something like armor on to decay, I just take my DB and get it over with. Just because we are laying down not moving is reason to make it impossible for us to die.
yes however FD does not allow us to solo, without armor, the most powerfull MOB in the game

Seriouly man, some of my favorite PvP moments have been FD related. For example:
A buddy's guild was getting clone camped by a guild they were warring. I grouped with them and caust the gTEF wave and got killed a few times. Well one of my buddies had dotted this one guy to hell so that he had like 150 in all 3 bars left, the rest black. My buddy is FDing right by the cloner entrance and this mostly black barred fellow and another guy are beating him to hell(he had no armor on so no big deal).Both of them were taking all sorts of trash.
So I'm standing there unarmored/unbuffed with a TEF on this mostly black barred guy. My buddy is on vent with me and shouting 'DO IT JORAS!' in between laughing. So, one UnarmedHit3 and he was incapped, quick DB and feign. 5 min later after a good laugh in vent and a timely FD food break I was back, stood up, meditated the wounds and targeted the mostly black barred felow and did /wink and walked off.

Is it just me or is this your nightly event in game? Sell faction, get ganked, FD, call in help, kill attackers. I'm missing out on some fun

I like to use FD tactically to bait people or stall them. Party leavin town and your group's almost ready but not quite? go in guns blazing and fd. They stick around long enough to grief you, which is usually all the time you need.
I also like to use a looping fd macro while doing faction purchases because I go afk quite frequently.

hehehe judging from the times I've seen that happen recently JustG's line is about as effective as the government's "Just say No to Drugs" line.
