Don;t forget, we get the Death-Hammer too
WOOT, this is one nice-looking smuggler skill-set.
And, while I do think that it's a bit odd that they have combat-skills and mods in the spice/slice trees, I prefer them there to having dabblers get all our combat specials in one tree.
this looks VERY cool

I fell in love with the Intim pistol the moment the pics came out, too bad the death hammer looks like crap. But the renegade could be ok. I just really really like that Intimidator, but I'll live.
In beta, the skill descriptions were bugged last night so I couldnt get a good feel for what did what. Has that changed today any?

You shouldn't have to regrind. If you didn't like the visual presentation of it earlier, then it is as bit different now. Probably not what you had but I hope it's close enough for you not to worry.

Combat bonuses = long overdue
ranged combat skills in the spices tree = some dev has been smoking something illegal.
Stick all the combat stuff in dirty fighting where it belongs and switch general ranged accuracy for proper pistols mods.

Too bad both of our certed weapons are BUTT FUGLY.
I'm disappointed (mind you with this primarily) - I was really hoping they were gonna make the DL-44 worth something and give it to us.
I _loathe_ the new pistols. The first one looks like it should be ID certed and the second one looks like a broken pencil.
La-de-freakin'-da.
I'm actually happy with everything I'm hearing come out of the CU... But these weapons are weak (and I'm not talking damage).

I haven't seen it asked anywhere else, so....
Does a Master Smuggler get the 1000 Health bonus or not?

YUP.
That is to say you get (x) amount of health bonus per combat (and doc/med) boxes you take. SO you don't necessarily have to MASTER anything to get the bonus. Just achieve enough boxes.
At least that is how I understand it.

GrimBear; "Stick all the combat stuff in dirty fighting where it belongs and switch general ranged accuracy for proper pistols mods."
I like the combat skills spread out, it stops the one-branch-dabbling.
And spices are NOT going to be manufactured by us soon so that branch will become something else.

Spice Tree gone it is now Delinquency Tree....
My time was linited this week end due to ISP failure so what I have is incomplete; I plan on investagating this in much more detail..
I didn't see the second Smuggeler weapon Ionly saw the Renegade pistol cert'ed at Master level.
At 95% packet loose I didn't have much chance to getdecent information; but at a glance I did get the following.
The spice (Delinquency) tree now takes combat XP - probably becasue it is being changed for our crowd control skills.
I only saw concussion shot and overwhelming shot.
The spice crafting is still in the tree.
Be very careful how you plan your new skill set.
With my Master Commando/Maste smuggler template I'mloosing the certs in Marksman rifles and carbines.
There are armor certts in the trees. Novices can't wear armor but as you progress up the trees you will get that certification.
Also if you are not certtified for a weepon or item of armor you will not be able to equip it as we cold before.
VKs for novice brawlers - armorusing buffsand this includes faction armor - not factioned y9ou wont get faction armor and if the AS is not factioned then the AS wont be able to craft the faction armor.
Would it be possible to create a section in the FAQfor each skill box. To completelydisect the box and analyze it item by item?
