And another thing:
Remember when Solo goes charging down the hall, only to come screaming back when he saw the stromies?
Kirk never did that. Kirk was a badass who stayed even when it was the dumb thing to do. Kirk'd rip off his own arm and beat Solo with it, just to prove he could do it without breaking a sweat.
Personally, I'd like to see Scotty vs R2. Droid's got the shock-stick, but Scotty's got Romulan Ale.
