So presumably the alpha teams were witness to documents and plans, but got no chance to actually test the game changes, yeah?
So who is testing it currently, as per Blair's Blog? Devs?

And Beta starts next week, at the earliest, leaving the CU with - at most - 3 weeks player testing.

Really, its just par for the course. Has SOE ever shown any ability to handle big publishes/expansions. I just found out that, because I play on a laptop,they can offer me no help of any kind with a glitch that causes me to crash to desktop while flying in space. So I've been thinking of quiting for a while now anyways. Its sad.
I hope the CU turns out to be fun and at least work, even if they've completely fubar'd the process.

Well... the Alpha testers didn't test something, correct? So wouldn't that be their own fault for not testing it?

Seriously. They should have hacked into SOE's database, stolen those files, set up their own server, and tested away. That's the problem with the youth of today, no commitment to their work.

Alpha testing took place.
None of the selected testers from the community/correspondents have tested the CU yet.
LA continue to annoy the hell out of me.
