food to reduce the timer on them and yes i have no medic I am MSmuggler/MBH/0004 Pistols I also have EXCELLENT armor and weapons (helps to b the son of a 12 point armorsmith and best friends with a 12 point weaponsmith) ![]()
I do use a rifle for some Dot/ snares and if i get in big trouble i FD and wait to retry healing. Also helps to see how they are armed if the mob is holding a carbine or pistol stopping shot then nuke with a rifle at range 65m
A pet can help too I use a BE Gurrcator a tank driod do distract them

I have the 1 point in Carbines because i found i was using them much more. Still I use a rifle when i need the reach. My mods are less than good on carbs and rifles, I have no tapes or anything special.
On NPC marks i have never felt lacking. Frankly PvE anything I feel solid.
The only time i feel my lack of accuracy mods is vs. the jedi. Their defences are unreal.
To bring this home: I was using -22 accuracy -33%speed (something like that) Powerups on all my guns. PvE I never had any trouble and it jacked my DPS way up. First time i went afer a Jedi I hit like 20% of the time...I just laid down and died, no way i could touch him,
So i removed all those PU's and i am now using +7%SPD +25%DMG (guessing the numbers but about that) and vs. Jedi my accuracy is much more acceptable. About 85-90% hits
My main Jedi hunting Gun is the Proton Carbine, A quest reward carb that kicks so much butt it should have a boot for a barrel. That is why i dropped my last couple points in carbs.

By the By, I just piked up a little floaty type 110medical droid the other day. NICE improvment on my healing, brings me up to the 800's with my spec. It has no combat mod so I can't tell it to kill, but, when the boss AE Sprays it aggrros the little sucker and he goes in swinging like a combat droid. It hits for 90ish vs. the Stouts! Just be sure to move closer to get hte med benifit when he does it.
Still #1 super duper rule for a MS+MBH LowBlow, LowBlow, LowBlow, if it is not on your target you ucking up.

Hmmm tough decision. I'm stubborn and will not give up Master Smuggler but I'm trying to decide between either MSmug\MPistol\CM 4000\Marksman 1404, MSmug\MBH\Medic 0010\Marksman 2404, MSmug\MBH\Marksman 4434 or MSmug\MBH\Marksman 2404\Pistol 0003. For the templates that I keep medic, I have BE clothing to enhance healing efficiency.
It's really tempting to involve BH, particularly since it seems like a simpler way to provide myself with slicing loot.
