Yeah, Indy...I picked up on that...

The crappy part, Dreven, and the NEW part is now they're implying that not only is there a DIFFERENCE between smuggling on the ground and smuggling in space (which there shouldn't be), they're also implying that the Privateer Profession IS Smuggler in Space. Like there are two separate smuggler professions. Ew, yuck, and W-T-F?

Dantooine:

Tier 2+, Specific story missions for all pilots, rebel pilots, and smuggler pilots.

Talus:

Players wishing to receive missions from this station must be a ground Smuggler of Alliance or Privateer faction.

This one I see as a very small step in the right direction, assuming 'Ground Smugglers' means 'REAL Smugglers' than this means that we finally will have some exclusive smuggling content(YAY). Still just a very small step which is still untested and unkown quality.

but Now that they've taken that one small step.. maybe they would like to take a few more in the same direction... a few good steps would be MORE missions like this in space, and on the ground. another small step would be letting us smuggle as a free enterprise(no mission, just for yourself) and the Giant leap would be to let us smuggle for everyone else... then maybe we can let the 'Smugglers Alliance' do what thier good at and escort us 'REAL smugglers' while we move some cargo
