i've always singled pulled items from crates when slicing, so this change, while obviosuly annoying, doesnt affect me at all.
but, if ya'll raise prices, and the customers pay...well who am i to argue with that 
i dont really need a reason to make more money when i can

I never slice for the public, just my alt MWS. If I forget and have my title up, I just tell them, "I am out of WUKs/AUKs at the moment, sorry." And that makes them go away, I hate the asks, "Give me a good speed slice, Ok!" and then your slice is 17% damage or something. That is why I don't ever slice for the public.

I did a suit for a friend patch morning... It took me 6 minutes. Not only is it a rousing pain in the ass to get the tools out each time, but you need more free inventory space to do a single slice; 1 clamp, 1 plk, 1 auk (wuk) for _each_ item sliced. Practically speaking, you have to pull 1 at a time instead of stacking a bunch of single-tools out for slicing, and it takes forever. I didn't ask for money, and he tipped me 100k.
The new system sucks, great job SOE. If I can ever find the stupid old man, I'll be needing to give up some SP to make my second slot available... guess what I'll drop.

Weren't we promised this would be fixed? So - TPTB told us yet another lie... how surprising 
Am heartily sick of all the stroking the Golden Children get while the rest of us get nothing.
For me it wont be a case of quitting Smuggler - but hitting that big old "cancel account" button. They have slapped a broken patch on the game - again.

I've aways been a smuggler, and have aways sliced a lot, and I never used autopull, untill they started talking about removing it I didnt even know it was there!
I don't see whats the big deal, really. There are so many other things that need to get fixed on smugglers that worrying about auto pukk from crates sound silly to me!

yeah I logged on today and slice a suit of armor. geez that wasa pain. then i find out my vendors arent on the map and have maintenance with the appropriate levels in merchant. doubly screwed by this patch. but i am totally for putting teh reason why i am not slicing in my bio

Heh, my price has jumped up to twenty grand per item now.
And if anyone with a known Jedi alt comes up to me, and complains about the price, I'll tell them first to "Go complain about it on the Jedi forums, 'cause our complaining here about anything does jack.", and if they keep whining, I add another ten grand on top of theper item price, each time.

You have been missing out. Fair price = Can you make more doing other stuff that is more fun?
How much would you charge to mow my lawn? How much would you pay someone to mow yours?

Have changed my title so i wont get 1000 tells going through populated areas, but now I think I'll bring it back, triple the prices and force everyone 2 read my bio before slicing.

My fellow Smuggling brothers and sisters...... THIS SUCKS yes indeed, but i mean seriously i charge 5k falt rate per weapon and a 6k falt rate per armor piece.... that seemed to work great for me. But look now it took me 5 minutes yes 5 minutes to realize i needed to manually pull out AUK's & WUK's from a crate, not to mention clamps. This part of pub 10 bits the big one. Why cant it be like the olden days, where Vets used analyzers to slice, and could get away with charging 20k for a perminate upgrade. The idea of raising prices is a great idea, we should all do it server wide, all do to the fact that is it a total pain in the arse to pull each item out of its crate then begin the slice. It not like the upgrade we do had a set amount of uses. It's Perminate, and people pay for that upgrade. So those who complain of getting a 22% slice, buzz off. 22% is better then no slice at all. And if we Smugglers wanna charge 15k and up for slices since Pub 10 you better beleive we will cuz not only do we make it worth your time, you gotta make it worth ours............................
