My usual responses are

"Oh ok" if they arent really happy with the slice, which is below 22% or so

"Excellent or Great!" if there happy with it.

Im just the smuggler for the guild really, but overall im content with the profession because its so unique from the others, besides the combat part. So I cant really complain.

I guess Ill get used to the complainers, I havent been smuggler that long, I will stick with it.

But I admit, I almost surrendered it for Doc cuz no one complains about a buff.

IMO the only "bad" slice are the ones where you cut the wrong wire. ALL the others improve the item. So what if you got a speed slice on your krayt gun and are capped due to speed mods. There are plenty of folks that are working on leveling that profession that would pay a pretty penny for that speed increase. Sell it and try again.

Can someone post an exact definition of fair price please?

Love it how people take a general, subjectiveterm and try to make it gospel.

I only have felt bad when it was my gun

I am an SOE customer, now only if they'd treat me as one...hell, I'd be happy if they treated me like a McDonald's customer.

I personaly feel that 100 credits per % is a fair price. That said I also think that 5k per slice is also a fair price.

If you read back you'll see that I said 100 per % will always be my prices. Well you know the saying. Never say never. I'm glad to say after thinking about it and reading most of the posts here that I've now decided to up my prices to 5K

But I personaly feel that more than 5k is way to much. Some idiot on Kauri is slicing at 600 credits per % while he do get a few people dumb enough to pay that price most people I've seen have told him to shove it and came to me

The only bad slice is when you cut the wire without letting the client know you have no clamps.

I'm a 100c per % person but I don't slice outside my guild all that often.
