I still think Voltron would kick the crap out of any of the Zords. Cuz really, didn't all our cool 80's cartoons just rock so much more than those 90's knockoffs?
As long as they didn't hurt the blue lion too much, Voltron would win! (Blue lion was the weak spot.)

Funny this topic got bumped back up... Anyone watch Robot Chicken?

Dude, He-Man is pure trash, the only cool thing about it is that crazy-ass wizard. He and what's-his-face (Mushmouth?) from the Cosby show, they both had the hats pulled over their heads with eyeholes cut in them--now that's awesome. Everything else, though.. trash. Have you guys ever noticed how homoerotic everything in the '80s was? (As usual I blame Reagan.)
The Transformers, on the other hand, are to be canonized if only for their movie. They SWORE in it! And not the kind of thing you can say on these forums, but the S-bomb! And almost every one of the original characters died! Also, it has Eric Idle, and Judd Nelson (Breakfast Club, anyone?), and Orson Welles in his second-to-last movie (what an effing penultimate swan song that is), and as if that weren't enough, a Weird Al song! The whole thing was just so dark and unusual for any kind of movie, let alone a childrens' cartoon. It's truly a gem of the decade.
Oh yeah.. and I once won a six-pack for a bet about the ending. Best '80s cartoon ever.
