Jedi/Faction Tef masking - (player smuggling) - mask sent is in game so the basic mechanics are there. Smugglers should be able to mask a Jedi from the BH's andmask a tefed or overt player/group from another faction. So as to not over power this skill it only works for 10min once every hour, can failand while the player will look covert (blue not red dot) or drop off a BH's droid search a BH (if the jedi is in his sights) or opposing faction can still lock onto and attack if they see threw our trick.
This is a fairly easy way to smuggle players and would not be all that easy to exploit.

I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING! OMG!!!!
Okay, now sadly, this would be JTL restricted, but even so, bear with me. Deep Space and Kessel can ONLY be reached by flying to a station, then asking to travel to the zone. this means you can't use the ordinary travel system.
If we could somehow utilize a system like that... Imagine, someone loads into a zone from a space station, and they have contraband on them. Immediately after they zone, maybe 3 or 4 specially factioned (don't automatically attack rebels) Imperial gunboats drop out of hyperspace in front of the person. He has two options, surrender his contraband, or be torn to shreds by glowing green justice. A smuggler of course, would have a significant chance that the Imperials don't show up, and if they did, would have a 3rd choice of trying to talk their way out of the situation. Obviously there's not a huge demand for carrying contraband to deep space, and they would never limit ground gamers as to what planets they could travel to, but it's a thought.
If they ever figure a way out to decrease starport lag, maybe with player starports, or like someone suggested, a One way exit from the loading area, then they could also implement this on the ground, with like a door, that a squad of nova troopers would come out of.
Also, I could see a lot more opportunity for smuggling if they ever build space stations you can dock and walk around at.

This idea has gone around before in one form or another.
I suggested on the BH forum...or here, can't remember which...that Smugglers should smuggle Jedi.
It's a great idea but I for one can't hold my breath till hell freezes over.

/bump
I want Ezkiel back!!!
I remember him making a response to one of my posts months ago... back before the devs deleted his prior post history.
I am not making this stuff up. He said something about one of the ideas I wrote, and I KNEW he was a dev.
He just said one line or two, and I had the strong feeling that he was a developer. I wish he'd come back.

Guys understand, he's not a Dev but I beleive he's an artist for the game who plays a regularsmuggler, he's not a dev tho but works very closely with them, as he supposedly the artist who designed surosub yaught. So be cool to him cause he can't exactly implement changes, but supposedly he in real close to whats going on, but he can't answer all kinds of questions, so be cool to him.
