Looks good, its every thing I wanted to know about Smuggling when I started.

The only thing I saw that may be wrong is this:

"In order to purchase faction your GCW status must be Specal Forces (PvP enabled) "

I will have to look tonight when I get home but I know when I got a bugged quest I dropped rebel and was going to rejoin to reset the quest. I purchased 250 FP to rejoin. If you mean that once you have joined a faction you can now only buy FP if you are SF then mybe add that.

I buy faction as a combatant all the time. I can only delegate if I'm Special Forces, but it's not required for the purchase.

On first reading I wasnt sure whether the bonus were accumulative or not.

For example the massive 8% you get on Damage on Order 3, is that In Addition to the other % increases or the cummalitive result. The answer to this might be useful in the FAQ unless im dense and others understood it first go.

Also, I am not sure whether you can do some slicing and later go back and slice the weapon more until you get to the 100%. Hence, does the slicing have to be done in one session.

PS the FAQ was very useful

Oh one last thing I wanted to know which is not clear in the FAQ is how the % increases are applied.

If for instance you get an 8% damage increase on a weapon, will it give the weapon 8% increase on the Min and Max values?

Dont suppose anyone knows the answer to my above questions in which i guess ought to be in the FAQ?

- Does the slicing need to be done in one session? If not I assume it can be continued by another smuggler?

- In the FAQ, its says 8% is the max slice, is that addition to the 2% and 4% or what it ends up being.

- If we get an 8% dmg slice, does that mean it is 8% on the max and min, or something else?

- Can you slice above the weapon's caps? I think i read you still couldnt but want to confirm?

I can answer those two:

It needn't all be done in a single session - I put a level 2 damage slice on my HLC, then after finding an ICB the next day, I did a level 3 damage slice and added level 1 slices for speed and critical. I don't see any reason why all slices would have to be done by the same smuggler, given that.

As for the 8%, that's the end result. It is not cumulative with the 2% from level 1 or the 4% total from level 2. It goes 2/4/8%. Given the resultant increase I saw in the DPS, it would have to affect min/max damage.

Wes, you might want to add that you recieve a 10% bonus when purchasing faction if you have the inspiration buff. I always buff my smuggler before I head off to buy faction. The only pain is running between rooms.

Oops, forgot something.

Great job Wes.

AHA! That explains it, I was wondering why I once got 1300-something FP at a time and hadn't been able to figure it out.

Thanks for the good advice, I'll always make sure to buff first from now on!

Here's a question/observation. In regards to the Critical Strike Chance description. You state that it gives a chance to do double damage. If this is the same as the Critical shot from BH then that's not quite correct. The Adv. Crit will add about 150pts or so in pvp (500 up to 650 in my case). So unless this is working on a different system that may be misleading.

If it did double that'd be saweet.

The information on Feign Death is out of date.

Feign Death in PVE breaks aggro now. Targets only re-aggro you when you stand up if you are in their aggro range if you led them away and then FD and they go back to the lair, they don't charge after you when you get up like they used to pre CU.

Feign Death does work in PVP. I use it to break the opponents attack. While Feigned you can no longer be griefed or incapped. The opposing force can't even select you to attack.A Jedi has used a skill to pull me out of FD.

the second speed slice adds 25% customization, not 20%. I can't believe i just did this without reading the in game text, but i thought i could have two speed slices and three damage slices from the number on this website... daaaaaaaaang... now i'm stuck with two damage and two speed... and nothing else. =( i would have so much rather seen 1 speed 3 damage and 1 critical... so don't let others make the same mistake! pls fix this typo!

also, it says we can slice bio-linked items? if that is true can you please explain the process because it is not working for a lot of us.

thanks
