I'm not even going to be nice. What the hell for? I've never heard a thing about smugglers being tied to mandolorian armor in the star wars universe so I repeat: What the hell for?
If it's just because you feel slighted another profession gets something as iconic as mandolorian armor then go be a **edit**ing bh or commando.
God, I hate when people piss on other people's parades. BH's and especially commandos deserve some perk. Mandolorian armor fits with the story (mostly) for them so they get it. No one else. You want to be able to wear wookie armor to?

This pretty well sums up my opinion on the question even being asked in the first place. It's pure greed.

mandalorian is cool and all, but I must admit I think it pretty much belongs to only two professions. Commando and Bounty Hunter. Other than those two, I can't say I would particularly care for smugglers to have mandalorian armor.

I agree completely, if everyone could use it, then it would jsut be a new, more expensive, composite. Keeping it class certed keeps it special.

So hey, maybe part of Publish 10 will be the random spawning of Darth Vader to perma-kill the Jedi. I swear I heard somewhere that that Vader guy helped to hunt down and destroy the Jedi. Looks like he did a pretty bloody lousy job, now didn't he??

I agree. He is making us BH do all the work, whats his problem? Fame too good for him?

I been kicking together an idea in my head lately of Profession-Specific Armor.

Like armor that only Commandoes can wear, or Bounty Hunters, or Smugglers, or Pistoleers, or Rifleman, etc.

Not only would it reduce the amount of resources needed for people, but it would also make it alot more fair.

Like say for Rifleman. They have a lightweight armor that helps disguise them, but isn't heavy to withstand a certain type of damage or punishment.

...or Commandoes. Give them really heavy, nigh-impenatrable armor. Make them move really slow in it so it makes them take a while to get to their target if needs be.

BH's get some sorta armor that lets them have a jetpack or some other feature that helps in bounties, like built-in target tracking (get rid of seekers at MBH perhaps).

But probably not a good idea.

I'd just be happy if there were a way to make basically composite armor components, taking one socket in each clothing item, but giving the clothing item the same protection as an equivilent composite (or ubese or whatever) armor. That way we'd still have the defenses of the armor, but a little more style and personalization of our toons. It a little disconcerting to look around and just see various colors (though usually blue) comp armor everywhere, but you can't tell a player's species.

I love the Ubese shirt, goes good with anything.

I hate wearing armor, I prefer clothes. In fact, last week was the first time I've used an armor suit since last October-November, I think. I sure as hell don't want to wear Mando. Sure, I'd like a suit for decor, but that's about it.

Going to WoW.

This game blows.

Man, did they ever! Now I know I will always be second hat to Boba Fett, even though I have completed 100s of bounties compared to his 1 since launch. In fact, I have killed more Jedi than Vader alone. . . but seriously they should have picked either in the distant past or somewhere in the future.

Don't know if we should or shouldn't be able to wear it, BUT I don't like the idea of slicing some armor that will help a BH better defend themselves against me when they come after me down the road !! I really think we should all give this one some thought, I for one don't think I'll slice that armor except for maybe and I mean MAYBE my closest friends in game.

Now I don't think removing seekers at master would be too good, but I do like that kind of though. How about eliminate needing to go to the terminals to get a mission? Use your datapad instead. Also, no need to use a SpyNet operative, because the bio signature is with the mission in your datapad. THAT would be awesome at MBH.

It's gonna be so damn near impossible to get anyways. It will be funny if the day comes when a BH comes to a smuggler to get it sliced...

BH: can you slice this MANDALORIAN HELMET!!!!

Smuggler: Um...yeah....sure....

Trade

Smuggler: Um...bye-bye!!!
