Thread: That timeless question...Who shot first?

If you want a good movie, then Han shot first. If you want the SWG version:
Greedo respecced to BH when the CU hit, and has no idea what he's doing. He took Han's mission on the terminals; the film takes place after the smuggler missions go live. Of course, Greedo is totally new and doesn't know how to use the seeker droids or anything. He goes in, and delivers his bit of alien gibberish. (Which translates roughly to "OMG, U R GONNA DIE!!!") Han, having been a pistolleer/smuggler since launch, laden down with FS skills, knows that Greedo is only CL 54 to his 80, and presents no real threat. He lets Greedo fire first to get the TEF. Naturally, since Han's Def is so high and the level disparity so great, he missed. Then Han returns fire, and incapps the poor Rodian in one shot. Sad really, but thats what you get for not grinding through the investigation tree on your own.

You mean there's a version where Han doesn't shoot first ?!

Personally my DVD always pops out as soon as they enter the cantina and a video jumps in. Han fries Greedo like the hard-a$$ed smuggler he is, the video pops out, the DVD pops in and all is well with the world.

Forget this who shot FIRST silliness. So far as I'm concerned, there was only one shot fired. Whatever special effects gremlins got into Greedo's prop to keep the shot from firing knew this too. The Force is strong in the special effects gremlins.
