I think the rangers...a few months ago, got more points for the master box, so there would be a signifigant difference. I know its not much...but dang man, it's our time!
They've only taken away from us, it's time for them to give back.

First and foremost /bow to all the old time smugglers. I have been playing since Aug 03..and along the way of my wow 5 profs mastered smuggler was one. And no I didn't do it for a holo, hubby was a smuggler and it looked fun so I picked it up. I have alot of respect for you all who hung onto it this long waiting to actually (gasp) "smuggle" something.
That being said I left the game finally in Nov 04 and just now came back. With my coming back I decided to pick up the two professions I loved most that I had done. So I dropped doc for dance and soon will be starting on smuggler. I have nothing but respect for you "old farts" and am glad you are finally getting a system that should have been in since day one. I am thrilled to find out that by the time I master it the revamp might be in. I tend to master everything slowly even dance takes me two months, and this is my third time on that. So kudos to you all and just ignore the silly questions that you know will come and take pride in the fact that you were stubborn enough to stay a smuggler until they finally gave you all what you deserved!

For the first 5 weeks it will be flooded with a bunchnew grind-smugs all up in our bizzness. But like the shipwrights who couldn't hang for the long run they'll slowly fade out and the ones who are for real will stick around, new and old.

And when we end up on player BH terms they'll switch to BH so we won't really get rid of them at all.

true but as powergamers they think like sheep and not out of a box so they wont be that much a threat as BH's.

Now i'm not a truely long in the tooth smuggler I was a master pistoleer/MCH and picked up dirty fighting to add to my pistol skills. I dropped CH when the changed it to where BE made better pets then you could find in the wild. I picked up M-Smuggler soon after that. If you love smuggler so much (like I do) And want it to not become a FOTM, we could all ways hope the made business 4 a req. again.(pre-launch) It's a moot point for me I'm stuck as a defence contractor in the middle east for the next year, and can't play

Well i think a majorit of the public knows who the old time smugglers are. I mean on my server I get into tell hell even when i dont have my tag up from people who just love dealing with me because i offer a distinguishable service adn not just another slice. The true smuggler who've been at it for over a year, like myself and many others, should still steal the show if you ask me May we rise once more my brothers! *lifts glass high* see you at the top!

I could care less what happens to slicing. I got into this profession almost two years ago to SMUGGLE.
I won't spend a moment slicing other than for myself and a few friends...other than how it helps me to do my smuggling missions.
