I would just like to say, THANK YOU to Tiggs and Goliath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is very nice to see that you do care about the smuggler proffesion and the gaming community. i think there would be a little less animmosity if the devs would start posting like you two have done in this thread. When we see that the Devs do care about the game, it makes us actually look forward to changes in the game. we know you are trying to make the game better for everyone that way. It wouldnt help for other devs to make more personnal apperarances and just drop in to say hey, how's it goin? as for our revamp you have showed us through your own personnal expressions Goliath that they truly are working on it and that some good things are coming our way. Please keep up the posted updates though, last tiem we got a nibble, we were tossed back in by GM and TH. So now that we have information i hope it doesnt take 6 months before we here from you and Tiggs again.

Wow. Well it finally came. Huh. How 'bout that. I won't go off on my problems with it here. I did that in the In Concept forums. So I'll just say thank you devs. I'm relieved not to be looking for this anymore.

And yes, we do exist. Some of us are so obsessed with games that they work in the industry...

We couldn't play SWG without Tiggs. Now we can =)

(Trying to get my girlfriend to play. so that way i don't have to feel quilty when i log on for 8 hours.)

well she likes star wars so she watched me play occationally.

then i let her creat a character with a trial account. this is handy cause i find women like to do this part. making the character look just right. i think my wife worked on hers for about 2 hrs.

then i helped her through some early parts of the game and introduced her to my friends and my guild, who all helped to get her going.

at first she didnt seem to be interested, but i know she pushed on in those first couple weeks cause she loved me (sappy moment).

eventually she made her own way and found her own path to follow. this is the key to our game IMO. it really boils down to one overall question:

"if you could live in the star wars universe... what would YOU do?"

Well, I'm off to try and make my wife a SWG vet.

Fixed.

I was hoping this thread would get back on topic, but since it hasn't and I just can't bring myself to scold any of you for looking for love....

My wife and I played Doom and a few flight sims with each other over our in-home LAN. Then we moved to UO and played that together for years. We'd have 'dates' playing UO together.

I play games a lot less these days and she doesn't play at all but that's life; kid's sports/activities, jobs, starting a business and a decent exercise program.

Important point is to always find something entertainingto do together...other than cleaning, cooking and childcare.
