Everything goes a lot further then expected on the forums. But that's alright. It's all in good fun.

I think I must be sucking up the statistics for the other guys out there, my last three girlfriends liked Star Wars, and the most recent of them like Wars FAR more then me, but we met working on EP3 (she was a sexy alien) so thats different I guess.
Goliath, I think your only aided by the fact that you work for the same company that makes the game. Kind of a psychological touche you can use on your wife. "But honey, I work for these people, what do you mean you don't want to support my career."Oh I think many of us wish we could use that little guilt trip. The... 'I need to play games all the time for my job' thing don't fly with 99% of women, cause we don't work in the games industry.
Wishing all the ladies loved the 'Wars...

That sort of thing only works on the week minded...... so it should be interesting to see what happens
.
What's this facination with Star Wars fans/gamers with deep blue eyes that some of the ladies here seem to have?.... and why don't the women I know share it!? ![]()

And
Did you stand over her and tell her this button does this and that does that. Or did you just throw her to the wolves?
(Trying to get my girlfriend to play. so that way i don't have to feel quilty when i log on for 8 hours.)
well she likes star wars so she watched me play occationally.
then i let her creat a character with a trial account. this is handy cause i find women like to do this part. making the character look just right. i think my wife worked on hers for about 2 hrs.
then i helped her through some early parts of the game and introduced her to my friends and my guild, who all helped to get her going.
at first she didnt seem to be interested, but i know she pushed on in those first couple weeks cause she loved me (sappy moment).
eventually she made her own way and found her own path to follow. this is the key to our game IMO. it really boils down to one overall question:
"if you could live in the star wars universe... what would YOU do?"
my wife is a doctor and a swordmen and we have many adventures together

Well, I'm off to try and make my wife a SWG vet.

No. 18-22 year old girls like the tall, dark, hansome, and "mysterious" guys. It's the late 20's to early 30's that like the sweet, kind, guy!!! <-------- This I discovered. Didn't have any dates for my early to mid 20's, now I can't keep them off me in my mid to late 20's! LoL
Haha yea, it was a bad mitype. And you're a bit off, usually 18-22 year old girls like the @$$hole guys who end up breaking their heart so they come to me telling me how much guys suck. For any of you guys in my age bracket, read this, it'll make you feel better, if someone can clickie it for me I'd appreciate it
Clicky!
That article really rang true here. I use to be one of those "nice" guys wondering why I put up with it all. Then I met the right girl looking for a nice guy. We've been married for 7 years this month.
My wife doesn't play a lot of video games, but she is tolerant of what I do. One thing to keep in mind: its okay to play the games, but make sure you have uninterrupted time devoted to your significant other, and don't dominate the conversation talking about the game.
