Daily Bump.....Lest we forget.

We're Charley Brown, the Dev's are lucy and the Smuggler revamp is the football.

Every time we think, this is the time were gona get to kick the football Lucy pulls it away at the last minute.

As a friend and guildmate of the esteemed EN, I can honostly say he cared deeply for smuggler andthe overall gamein general. Many nights we'd just sit around for hours and talk about the game, it's potential, and the direction it was headed. Being a master pikeman in the early days of the game, I knew of which he spoke when he complained of a profession unfinished and lacking in playability. However, at the very least, pikeman could swing a pike (poorly, mind you, but that's neither here nor there). Smuggler could not smuggle, and there was nothing EN wanted more than functional and meaningful smuggling. He fought, like many of you here, long and hard to bring his vision to reality. Three years later and long after EN departed the fight still continues. Pathetic.

SOE/LA, this game will long be a legacy to your ineptness and total disregard to your customers. I hope any company thinking of doing business with you in any vain will take a long, hard look at the utter mess you have made with this game. You've taken arguably the strongest franchise in this genre, a massive fanbase, and a game with unlimited potential and, with every publish, managed to cram it further and further down into the virtual garbage-bin. Nice job.

My time with this game is at an end as of tonight so I thought I'd give a little shout out (and a bump) to a thread in a forum that meant alot to a friend. You all desrve better than you've received. I'd say keep up the good fight but I see clearly that it's for naught. My advice, if you want it, cut your losses and move on. There is nobody at SOE/LA, from the top down, that gives ad_mn about making this game better. It's taken me nearly three years (Ignore my registration date. This is my alt account. Main expired beginning of the month.) for that to finally sink in. I know that at some level I'll miss it but for me, leaving is my only option. I'd rather look back with fondness than look ahead with despair. Oh, as for EN, he's doing great in RL. I'm just glad he's not here to see how farthis game hasfallen.

Good luck to you all in whatever you choose to do. Well, I guess there is only one thing left to do...

After seeing smugglers get the short end of the stick for longer than us bounty hunters, I say we as a community, not just the professional community, but as the SWG community, a community of players who pay money to have real content in this game, should stand up and show our support to have the smuggler profession fixed. I'm a BH/Rifleman, never been a smuggler in my whole time in this game, but I have friends, and I've watched the boards, and I have heard the pain the the words of the smuggler community for far too long, and their cries have touched me...its time we all...ALL band together and show our support for the smugglers in their struggle for a better profession! Are you with me?!?!

God Bless The SMuggling community for putting up with all this crap from the devs. I'm considering becoming a smuggler just because I read this thread. Hopefully, the revamp is coming soon!

I do hope you guys and gals get the smuggling profession you always wanted.But after two years of this crap. and reading this forum day in an day out to see what comes of this game i had had it. For me its time to let this game die and hope a new one shows up that actual does what it says it does from day one.

For now i just wish you all the best, take care. catch you all in another game someday.
