You consider that the bright side? Its not like we are the kings of PvE right now, so I doubt anyone questioning our need for a revamp will change his mind just because of another nerf. No matter how borked we are, there will always be someone yelling for more nerfs. And its not like we care about those trolls anyway.

I make a point ofreading before posting, and this is was he said:

The Devs have said that the immunity idea will be scrapped in favour of resistances, but I think the resistances are already there, a miss is as good as a resists, and that is all taken care of by the defence/accuracy system.

Immunities may be gone, but resistences remain a serious issue, thank you.

So, yeh now the NDA's lifted (and I noticed after I posted that I couldn't tell you more, the pistoleer correspondent had already said it anyway ), they're changing it so that most of the high level creatures that're currently immune on TC to merely having high restists to roots and dazes (hurrah for overwhelming shot)... as for what Commandos wanted, I think they're getting some of it what with their new specials and weapons .

So if we can't actually control the crowd, then what the hell use are we.

What the fck is wrong with you SOE????
We start to hear good things are coming then they drop stupid sht like this into the game.
Are you all fcking stupid??????
Do you think if you screw us over enough, everyone will drop Smuggler and you can remove it from the game?

I was considering buying RoTW, and was undecided on ToOW, but you have now lost those sales, and very likely my account.

You people really have no fcking clue, do you?

Bug fixes. Heh! Smuggling. Heh! A Jedi craves not these things.

My SWG Observations

If they stopped the expansions for one year and gave quality revamps to the professions that need it most, many people would resubscribe.
With all the resubs, and the new players, there would then be plenty of money to hire enough people to do 2-4 quality revamps per year plus 1-2 larger expansions per year and/or 2-4 smaller expansions per year, and not give the BigWigs a pay cut. (Possibly even an increase)

I'm going to have to agree here. I believe I read something like a 5% chance of sticking. 50% I could live with, but 5% pretty much makes any form of crowd control useless. Especially in combat against high-mobs and elite creatures, where rooting and debuffing is required for survival.

Edit: Oops, I got it backwards. My bad. I'm going to stick to my stance, because I'm stubborn.

It's bad enough as it is, you can miss, and there is a 5% chance that it wont stick even if you do hit.

Adding in a chance to resist is too much, they just need to add the 20 second immunity timer and reduce the cooldown to 2 seconds or so.

Its not that bad, only a 5% chance that it won´t stick... if you hit, that is.

We were supposed to be a 5, but we were actually a 3.5 to maybe a 4.

Then came anger and we were were a solid 3.

Now this brings us to around a 2.

So I guess this goes on to prove we are not a combat oriented profession and with our skills are somewhat less useful than pre CU so were back at square one which means....

Give me my damn smuggling SOE!

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114
