This has been discussed both in the corre forum and the beta forum, with a dev response; can't say what was said, obviously, but it's been addressed partially.

So, yeh now the NDA's lifted (and I noticed after I posted that I couldn't tell you more, the pistoleer correspondent had already said it anyway
), they're changing it so that most of the high level creatures that're currently immune on TC to merely having high restists to roots and dazes (hurrah for overwhelming shot)... as for what Commandos wanted, I think they're getting some of it what with their new specials and weapons

Yep, I just read on the Commando forums, that on TC2, there's Commando changes... Now, we are officialy the LAST ONES **edit**ING AGAIN!!! To all you Commandos who said "We will never get this even though we haven't been waiting that long"... I TOLD YOU SO!!!!

Anyone have friends that are Jedi? If so, just ask them to say that this takes away the fun factor for them. It'll be fixed by the end of the week.

Ahh, but i do smell new template options. Smuggler/commando will be viable again, which makes me happy.

Ryian´s hints for clueless game devellopers, Volume I:
1. fix the buggs
This game is still heavily bugged. There are buggs from JtL and RotW, not to mention those that have been part of SWG since day one. You even have a bug list, you know? The one Tiggs deletes ona daily base so the newer players don´t wonder why it is a thousand pages long? Yet, you insist on releasing the next expansion. Rethink that strategy, quality does count.
2. add content
Yes, I am referring to the famed Smuggler content. That is my personal priority, but to be honest, this game is lacking "end-game" content for all professions. Genocide on gurks and pickets gets boring after a few million kills.
3. never fix what is not broken
This should be easy, as there is hardly anything that isn´t really borked at the moment. But if you happen to find an aspect of this game, that is even slightly bearable, please hold your joy and refrain from breaking it right away! Its not your fault that allyour talented colleagues have abondoned ship month ago - but PLEASE - if you can´t do something right for your life, stop trying!

On the bright side, if smugglers' effectiveness in any kind of high-end PVE situation is removed, that'll simultaneously remove any possible argument about us having had our "revamp" with the CU.
