If spice allows players to solo some parts of the PvE that should not be soloable then it have to be nerfed. If not the entire we are right back to where we were before the CU.
And the same can be said for any other game feature.

SOE isn't going to turn all PvP into hour-long duels just so you can sell more spice.

With spice stacking we're going back to Pre CU. The idea behind the CU was to move away from the insane health bars... 12k is utterly excessive. Let's not even mention the fact that spices should NOT be crafter by smugglers (which should be changed in our smuggler revamp, let's hope it's publish 18, not 201 like we all fear :/).

As a smuggler I never: Craft spices and will only slice my own weapons (though not until the slicing revamp hits).

i agree, a simple happy medium is the order really , dont allow so many spices to take or risk a OD etc. Smuggler has taken too large a bash of recent and it is upsetting to see another tree that is loosing its worth or the potential worth it could have had



like the feign death pvp removal which could have just been implimented at master, it seems easier to remove and forget than it is to logically adress and make usefull

I wish they would make interesting downers for the spices (not just stats nobody can see, kind of like getting drunk in EQ). And LEAVE THE SPICE STACKING! ITS THE FIRST TIME IN THIS GAMES HISTORY PEOPLE HAVE ACTUALLY WANTED GUN JACK & CRASH AND BURN. And THAT green Ewok joint I can't remember the name of (Because I never had a reason to sell it before).

LoL I just finished factory runs of all my spices, please tell me it wasnt for nothing In all seriousness, as an avid PvPer (Smuggler's are the best) I love the way spice stacks although I agree there should be a greater penalty for stacking, such as a longer downer time, or stacked downer strength <shivers>. Spice stacking is not ruining PvP, its giving me as a ranged character a better chance against a jedi, thats all. And since PvP is now jedi wars (and will be till the end of SWG, get over it) I dont think it should be nerfed. My 2 cents

Im not a smuggler but I do think when pub 17 hits and spice stacking is gone it will also remove any sales you all have. I mean whats the point of being able to make more then one spicethat all do the exact same thing if they dont stack? If they dont stack then they are useless. I will only buy one kind.


As for the HAM i can get 8k ham or higher without spice and without any crappy DOC buff. Food,PB and force Crystal gets mepast a10k HAM.Granted spice stacking adds about 3k HAM but wont make a difference when im at 10k.

Wouldn't be quite so psychotic if instead of letting all spice stack or no spice stack just allow some spice to stack. Either allow spice of the same tier to stack... which for me would pretty much require every spice other than Pixie, Muon and Booster Blue to be altered into something different and useful.


Or, alternatively make spices from the same tier NOT stack with a limit of three spices in your system at one time. This is the lesser option... but it would also be relatively easy to implement and would continue to support the stocking of the lower tiered spices.
