Hey all... long time old-school smuggler here, haven't posted here or played for a while. I never reinstalled SWG when I got my machine formatted a couple months backbecause I was into WoW. I cancelled my account, but since I'm on the 3-month cycle, I still have til July 29th or somethingto play before my account goes down. I wanted to re-install because I'm getting a little sick of WoW, and I also wanted to check out some of the new stuff and the Combat Upgrade and all that stuff. But when I tried to install it, 'InstallShield' gets an 'Unhandled Exception' error and never gets past the first screen. Does anyone have any idea what this means and how I can fix it? I played SWG for a year and a half on this computer; there's no reason it shouldn't install fine. Sure, I formatted it a couple months ago, but that should only make it better I'd think. WoW plays fine, and I had no problems getting IT installed. I tried the Tech Support forum, and no response yet from when I posted yesterday afternoon. Google searches have yielded nothing either. Any ideas?
