the remaining rebel ship will be the b-wing. someone took some pictures of the rebel pilot skill tree at fanfest and the b-wing was one of the ships you become certified for as you move up the levels. I would post the link to the picture but I dont rememberwhere to find it.
Hey, I remember that. It was in with the pics of like a /examine of an X-Wing. It was down at the bottom left on the cert box.
I do remember them saying that anything you see in screen shots or pictures is very tentative and don't count on whatever it is to be in the final version. BUT, when it comes to an actual ship, I think we can lock ourselves into the B-Wing for the last Rebel ship.
BUT, I'm starting to wonder if the Firespray-class isn't the final one. I'm about 80% for it and 20% on the Lambada. Mainly because, even though the Lambada technically could be a neutral ship, it's thought of as an Imperial vessel and their 5 has been laid out and none of the Rebel ships were multipassenger. So the middle, neutral, line stands reason to be the true Privateer/Criminal ships being that we have the Hutt fighters, a very smuggler oriented ship, and the only other iconic ship of the nature would be the Firespray.
Hell, they told us to purchase a YT-1300 and act like Han Solo for our JtL content so I'll bet they're gonna tell the Bounty Hunters to purchase a Firespray-Class and act like Jango/Boba Fett for their content. So that's what I'm putting my money on....Slave 1/Firespray.
Anyone want to dispute that logic? lol

I also saw somewhere that the YT1300 will be available for each "faction", so it's not just a "Neutral" ship. Unless that last ship is some nice combat ship of some sort, the "Neutrals" got shafted, since the Rebels and Imperials have 5 combat fighters each, plus the YT1300, and the "Neutrals" so far have only 3 combat fighters plus the YT1300.
my guess being, there will be several ships that crossover between the 3 professions. just that certs for them will unlock at different levels.
ie, most of the neutral ships will unlock early, then some of the imp or rebel ships will require master neutral (or whatever that profression is called) to achieve. those same ships available at master neutral, may be available at novice rebel/imperial. the yt-1300 might not be available to imps or rebs until they hit tier 4 or master of their own skill set, but available to neutral pilots at novice or tier 1.
oh dear..i've gone crosseyed.

This could be, but what I would like to see (and know will probably never happen) would be to allow smugglers to get a random cert for one rebel and one imperial ship that they can fly. I realize that you could just go rebel pilot and get all the rebel ships and (probably) the YT, but if I don't want to go rebel or imperial solely ( I like the idea of playing each side against the other
) there should be a way for me to get at least one ship that I can pilot (using a RP example that will never be in the game: smuggler gets caught by imps, while transporting spices/generic contraband, and has to escape in a TIE whateverwouldn't work if you can't pilot them). It's just something I was thinking of for more smuggler content.
Graby
Yet the pilot suits are already in-game

B-Wing? hmm. Well, not to imply that SOE hasn't broken continuity in SWG before, but the B-Wing was designed about 10 years AFTER this time in the time-line (just prior to Return of the Jedi)...
