I am going Jedi with the intention to become a Jedi Knight or higher. I want the 2nd slot to create a Bothan triple master (Rebel).

All I want is the second slot. If I cant get that and keep tripple master then I remeber Han and his Hockey religon quote. I will not be a jedi.

And the answer to that is:

You will not be able to keep your current triple master if you want to unlock your second character slot.

If you unlock your second character slot, you can make THAT one the triple master.

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

I'll probably drop the Smuggler spice skillset, and since my slicing will be degaded w/o master, I'll dump everything above terminals. It'll be sad to let go of master smuggler, but those skills are the least useful to me and the easiest to get back.

Ummm... to clarify... it opens a second slot? I thought that was only if you unlocked pre-patch 10?
